I think I've installed everything correctly but when I start the game and press Multipalyer the Player/Ranking match is greyed out... What have I done wrong? Is this tutorial up to date and why it isn't working for me?

The main page of this thread helps me alot.No clue if i need update 4 to 6,link is broken,got the file from someone else placed them game was crashing,did the last update and the game is crashing when i press multyplayer.

Nah nevermind ,now it dosen't crashes anymore but it's quite sad that there aren't players playing this at the moment or i did something bad.

how can i run the dx11.exe of this game with the provided files?
When i start it, nothing happens

to everybody . you MUST have a cracked steam client running in background . like GREENLUMA . and a logged account. you need them . then run avp from avp.exe or avp_dx11.exe

PS: for dx11 you need windows vista/7

PPS: i see right now over 30 people on tunngle . wow since a long time i haven't seen that . i'm listening a server right now. TDM. if it couldn't be seen by browsing dedicated LAN servers . try to connect by console typing "tunngle ip":27010 . if the console key is not working. just alt+enter and change to english keyboard layout ! ( it's necessary to click first on the avp window to assign the layout to the application) come on guys !!! :)

well greenluma is running at the background and I'm using win 7 x64.
Does the dx11 version work with ur settings?

yes ! for me it's working great . i'm using the 1st post patch . the big zip . to be extracted to "program files x86\steam\steamapps" . wich contain the game main folder "\steamapps\common\aliens vs predator "

WAIT. i'm sorry i told a mistake . i'm using an old zip taken from this thread in the past . maybe something as been changed since then . so i'm downloading it again and see if it's still working . i'll tell you back in a few days stay tuned . ;)

no problem you're welcome . it's a long time that i want to have a match again . but i can't see people playing anymore . it's a shame :( . anyway the torrent hasn't any seeds .. damn !!!
this is a 2 gb zip . mine was over 5 .. if i'll see that there is no possibilities to download it, i'll up my executables-only

Alright, I've fixed my problem and can now search servers. The problem is that there are no servers showing. Joined Tunngle room, 22 people online and not a single server on LAN? Switched to Dedicated(Internet) and there's nothing too... What's the problem?

wich is the problem . i really don't know. maybe the master server is down or nobody is hosting :( . anyway the tunngle room is really messed up :S since 2 months ago i tried to contact those people witouh success. once a guy answered me in vietnamese and another one told me that he was playing borderlands 2 .. O_O . however, i tested it a lot of time . and at the moment the only thing i was able to make working is the DEDICATED LAN server at home. so we can use it also on tunngle . but no survivor mode :( . once the dedicated server is created , if you can't see it in the list. try to join by console . clicking the console button on the left of "1" and above the TAB btton . if you have problem you have to ALT + ENTER and set the english keyboard layout . but first click on the running avp window to set wich application is interested in. usually the dedicated server port il 27010 . so for example type : connect 7.x.xxx.xxx:27010 !

so . are you playing? are you going to have a match ?

damn . i've tried everything to make survivor mode working . unfortunately player match without dedicated server is not working at all ! even tried to connect manually by console . nothing ... :( sad... survivor mode rocks ! :(

Instructions:
Join a server via console "~" with "31.128.159.38:27041" command OR go to Multiplayer ->Player Match -> Browse Games -> Dedicated (Internet)

Russian version Aliens VS Predator 2010 of the test is successful,connects to the server and sets.
