You're right, It crashes on win 7 x64. Use these legit exe files:

since these exe files are not cracked, I don't know if your game crashes later or not but at least you can get into multiplayer menu.

I fixed the black screen problem and also every single bug in the network protocol...just leave SmartSteam running in background and launch the game from AvP.exe and change the appid to a free game (for personal reasons I won't tell youthe appid,VALVe is watching us and they can fix it like they did with 18800,so me and my friends will never be able to play again...VALVe if you read this,GO FUCK YOURSELF !)

Ah, crap... I didn't know what 18800 fixed
So, now i need to try all free steam ids for find some players? Eh...

aliens vs predator executables.ncf fail to validate and it require an update file to correct it.

anyone can post a screen with multiplayer option? i mean : someone downloaded the files blablabla and the MP function is working and the finds servers?( no black crash)

How do you change appid? I cannot find any steam_appid.txt in my avp folder. I do find steam_api.dll, but when I open this with a texteditor, i do not understand the file.

BTW, I am using pacsteam on win7 x64. Is that a bad choice for getting this game to work?

i downloaded from torrent(the original 16(7)GB razor1911) and used smartsteam. i really want to play the game, but no1 help me/us... and i wont pay 20euros for steam...

Can anyone tell me if there are any dedicated cracked servers at all out there ?
I've managed to get multiplayer working with multiple appID's, but everytime I make a search query for servers, it finds none.

Have I used wrong ID's or something ?

My version of AvP is Razor's release with all of the Skidrow patches, including patch 4to6 and, of course, best_matrix07's crack.
AppID's I've tried : 560,32210, 18800.

I hope someone knows what's the problem
