damn, what am i doing wrong??  i ve the MW2-Reloaded version so i tried the "freshinstall". I installed MW2 & copy/pasted the extracted files in MW2 folder, setted up a nickname but it keeps saying "The Beta of Modern Warfare 2 has now ended.", when entering the game. i also tried other combinations with the other files available here & alterIW.net but no success.....

May someone please help me about it ? go to http://www.wieistmeineip.de/ check your IP, then go into a private room in MW2, and then tell your friends to open the game, minimize it, then go to the mw2 console, and type connect "IP" without the "" where your IP is .... your IP lol, it is what you see in the website, so for example lets say on the website u see your IP as 99.88.77.283 u tell your friends to go to console and type connect 99.88.77.283 and viola they will join you  P.S invite me to your room

Thx for answer raladin but we want play with other players not 1 vs 1. Is there a website for we can see the servers ip's or how can i see server ip which i joined. And i was tryed "connect ip". It says Asking if another party has room for 1 players at time and nothing happens

I am not sure though, but as far as I remember it shows you the server IP on the top. But you know what you could do? it is a hard method might not work, what you do is that you host a room, and as fast as you open the room, tell your friends to start searching for a game. Now the thing is that you chose a gametype that there are no lots of players playing in, for example hardcore, there are people playing hardcore but when you make a room and tell your friends to start searching I suppose they will join you faster than the others good luck. |

Hello All! Great Tut  It works all! But i have a lil problem with the map files. I downloaded the game on steam (but in german) so my question is: can someone give me the englisch map files? Thank u all! =) "patch map_ff is different from server" pls help me

a host tool to become host and kick people when you want is THE ADMIN TOOL (TO KICK PLAYERS AND ALL): http://syspirit.tk/forum/download/file.php?id=59 To use: If you get the host a voice will alert you ingame. You can open the menu while playing with the [numpad *] button and navigate between the menu items with [numpad +] and [numpad -] or cancel the process with [numpad /]. THE HOST TOOL: http://rapidshare.com/files/415396877/mw2_host_1_2_.zip to become host, you: 1) Open "mw2_host.exe" as administrator (for Vista and Windows 7) 2) Run Modern Warfare 2  3) Start searching a game (like Team Deatmatch) 4) Press F5 to prevent MW2 to find a match of another 5) Press F4 to change the settings 6) Press F3 to start the match Creating a server is a RESPONSIBILITY!  The rules are simple. 1) you must have a high speed internet, as in downloading speed and uploading speed. 2) NEVER download anything while hosting the room. 3) You can always kick the hackers if you don't want them in your room, ask me in the comments below for a way. 4) If you cant handle being a good host, DO NOT DO IT. |
