downwire wrote: Nope. Can't see the point anyway ... Ok, that's fine, if that cannot be done in any way, no problem. I'll use the other save you've done for me instead, thanks for that one. The point would have been to unlock the MP5-SD3 and the SC3000 normally, by collecting them myself through single player progress, and have the AKS-74U and the AK-47 already unlocked (like the SR-2M) as I can't play co-op to unlock them regularly.

By offline I mean:
Playing offline, in Lan. Which means Local Area Network. Which then again means without internet connection.
Is that possible yet?

LAN has always been possible I've heard, it's online that's the hard part.
Just wondering, is there a 'save file editor' or of the like that allows you to create a new file with: -Edits to your name -All DLC unlocked -Certain PEC point challenges unlocked But still compatible with LAN & Singleplayer games?
No matter what I do so far the DLC doesn't show, I'm trying to find a way of getting the already 'in-game' DLC without having to start my file from scratch, for example, I have most of the normal PEC at level 2 each (with level 3 in a few of the more frequently used ones), and every splinter cell PEC except the: -car alarm investigation -security device diversion -breaking glass -full recovery challenges I wouldn't want to lose this progress. Is there that sort of a program? If there is, would someone be interested in creating the save files for everybody playing LAN, cheers, but only in your spare time please. It'd be awesome to have all the DLC available with points to upgrade the weapons, I'd probably have the name 'Bravo' and my little brother as 'Delta' (who only has level 2 PEC with advanced stealth, advanced close combat and ten times predator.)
Thankyou everyone in advance, "What happens next is up to you!"

The most editing I've ever seen done is changing of name, and that stuff's on the first (few?) pages. Other than that, I don't think so

The very first skidrow crack (v1.0) didn't actually have multiplayer, It was cracked and released seperately later... Version 1.02, 1.03 & 1.04 all have LAN ability. Just click multiplayer - LAN. You can create or search for a LAN game, and as long as both computers are running the same version, it will work. Using a saved game found here, you can also unlock all the extra content for the game (Weapons, uniforms and an extra co-op/d-op map 3rd Echelon). Highly recommended.
smashbrawler - Are you sure you are entering the same name in the "Username" field in skidrow.ini as the name in the saved game?
Also, sorry but I've been busy again lately so I'll get those saves done in a while, check back later.

Thankyou Downwire, don't worry, take all the time you'd like for those saves. (Our Skidrow version is the 1.04 patch, (Isn't voice chat awesome!)) Also about my recent attempts, I should've mentioned - they're the special multiplayer patches rather than the save files. I was trying the patches because they seemed to suggest I could keep my progress throughout the game. Those patches didn't end up working for me, 'extras' mode still couldn't be accessed so I was curious about a save file editor. Those save files do work, and work well, but as you know our PEC points definately do not stay intact. (after all it's a new save) That's why I asked for custom files with certain PEC unlocked already. (those we had) Thanks again, this community is one of the very best! Quote: I remember that it showed some sort of error message @Placebo: If you can't join your friends LAN games, here's a solution that worked for us: 1.Go to C:>Windows>system32>drivers>etc 2.There you will see 2 or 3 hosts files.(including the hosts.ics) 3.Open them with notepad and DELETE every single line that DOESN'T have # before it. 4.Save them Enjoy the Co Op mode with your buddies.
