Dont think its possible to even connect right now, unless you got a legit copy of the game.
Theres no mp-crack for it yet...

I have a legit copy (client), but I'm talking about the server! Or do I need the game files for the server too?

No, but after what i understand you need a legit copy to be able to logon to the server since you need to logon to your real account.
Then after that you can play on your server.
Im not sure if this will work, but the only people i know that could use these server files had earlier versions and legit copies.

Ok, it seems like my english is not so good as I thought.

The problem is server side, when I run the .bat file, it opens the main window, but in the top of the windows (the tittle bar) it should say "xxx:19567" (xxx the server name), but in my case, it says "xxx:0" :S.
I configured the serveroptions.ini and the .bat file to set the port to 19567, but no success, it keeps setting it in "0"!

Yup i understood what you ment.
I get the same thing.
And as i said before, people who got the server working was using earlier versions, r11 i think.
Unfortunately, i dont have any contact with any of those who got it working.

On a sidenote: I cant logon with remote admin tools either.
So i bet there are still some stuff to be done til we "mere mortals" can use it.. ;)

Im gonna test a few things, i'll be posting my findings asap.
Just gonna test it first see if it'll work...

The worst is that i don´t have problem to set up a legit server, the only problem is to know who people of DICE contact to be a partner, or whatever it takes =/

Ok, so i found out that if you want admin access you need to put the ip in the "ServerOptions.ini" too.
Here's my "ServerOptions.ini" which works;

  5.  
  6. RemoteAdminPassword=YOUR_PASSWORD
  7.  
  8. Name=SERVER_NAME

  13.  
  14. Ranked=False
  15.  
  16. BannerUrl=
  17. ServerDescription=ServeRoK
  18.  


If you are accessing the server from outside your network put your external ip.
If its on the same machine as the server leave it as it is.
If its on your local network set it 192.168.*.* where "*" is your router settings to the server machine.
Also dont forget to forward all ports in your router to your server machine.
TCP: 80, 18390, 18395, 13505, 19567 UDP: 18395

Yeah but its still useless, cause your server won't show in the server browser due to EA/DICE's IP white list, or have u found a way to bypass it ? ::)

My friends and me have legit BFBC2.
Is this usable for us? Can we host our won dedicated server and connect and play?

If so can anyone please provide the files to do so adn the steps to follow?
