Your not supposed to use R14, the current server version at the moment is R11. I think next week it will be upgraded to either R12 or R14 when the patch gets released. So use R11 for the time being, because the current game client won't recognize anything other than server version R11. :)

Any news on bypass login and creating masterserver is it someone working on that and what is progress?

Holy shit! Just read the first few pages of useless arguing.

Is that all people do on this forum is bicker at each other about which scene group is cooler than the other and if something is real or not, let alone if something is going to be cracked or not?

When AC2 was being cracked and values.db & emulators were being released every topic had about 10 pages of people bitching at each other or at skidrow/razor/etc per 1 post of useful information.

No wonder the Admins/Mods have such a hard time on this forum and so many threads get closed. Sheesh.

Can someone write full tutorial here? i download everything and installed my game folder, so i started the Frost.Game.Main_Win32_Final and go to my game then nothing changed...

Before the 1st retail patch legit players were able to log into a server twice on the same account. Meaning; I was able to share my account with a friend, I choose 1 profile under the account, my friend chooses another. Then we could log onto the same server. It only worked if we played on the same server.

My question is, what did EA/Dice do to patch that out. Was the issue on the client, server or master server side. If that can be reproduced with the files we have now, a legit player can log into the same server numerous times under the same account. Up to 5 players at most under the same account on the same server.

If that can be exploited again that would mean a pseudo LAN for legit players.

At least it would be good for small 2 on 2, or target practice, etc.

I really hope the underground community can focus their efforts on the next set of patches for numerous gameplay reasons.
1. Fixed Knife
2. Better/reworked Packet Flow
3. Hit box registration

It was really a shame EA/DICE skimped us on the LAN. They have NO reason not to give us Assault mode now. Their excuse was they were afraid of giving PC users any tidbit of server files. Now we have em all!

I'm actually tired of seeing this game turn into the Nickel & Diming Fest that it has turned into. to get 4-5 new maps in the Fall we now need to Bby the expansion. That expansion I'm sure is going to be $40-50 on the PC end. More for Console users. If I was a console BC2 fan, I would be pissed by now. Seeing what EA/Dice are doing to the console community sickens me. they found a way to turn a $50 product into a $100 product by slowly feeding their customers small bits of it at a time. Paying for a frickin new skins is ridiculous. The skins don't even workout on snow or desert maps, which make up 1/2 of the maps. Console futures are fuc#3ed! PS3 and 360 are over-glorified PC's with proprietary bull to boot.

EA/Dice also forgot what made their previous successes so great, replayability! Amazing mods, maps, weapons all made by the fan based community for FREE. With the release of these files the future of Bad Company 2 belongs to the Underground Community.

When the fan created modding tools hit the scene, it's all over for DICE/EA. The fans will create their own 1943 for PC with all the models provided in the 1st WW2 mission of the game. Then after the vietnam expansion we'll have every major War era covered for endless user/fan creation. Then their own custom game modes. Bots are fully possible, just need the Bots paths and pathing variables to be implemented. Then We'll have an assault mode that exceeds the playability of EA/Dices mode. Wake Island, here we come!

How did you get your server to run? I dl'd the R11 rar and extracted it. When doubleclicking the frost***.exe it connects to the ea backend server but with the go.bat it doesnt :S

The server files are ok, maybe you did sg. wrong. And the guy using legal client, so we still have to wait for somebody to hack/patch this
