The island is pretty well developed structurally. My guess is either: early prototype for one of the sub-islands or unfinished island that was "detached" for production reasons. I'm getting lots closer to a plugin release so others can study the architecture better.


The unlock glitch only seems to happen when you load a save game in Montereggioni. So playing a game _before_ the scripter unlocks = works. Loading a game outside the Villa city = works. Loading a game with the Villa map = missing people, forever save corruption bug, teleporter warps. VillaAfterSaveGameLoadedEvent is likely the problem. May leave this alone soon and update the notes.


I think the list is supposed to be 3 map markers for banks. Ezio has to find a way to raid each one.

Tested on skidrow 1.01. Copy binary\* to game.exe directory. Tweak scripts. Play.


Unlocker = same choices as OPTIONS unlocker
Scripter = early unlock (feathers, seals, codex, capes, free roam)

I can finally explore that southern Venice island. You were right, they put plenty of work into it, which is surprising. I was expecting lots of clipping but it's not the case at all.
Maybe it was supposed to be DLC like the Oltrarno District in Florence, who knows...

Not to sound newbish but how do I apply these files u have provided? I actually had a copy of AC2 Skidrow release for some time and never installed it since I was playing other games at the time. Thanks
S/N: I've never played thru any Assassin's Creed games if that tells u how familiar I am with the titles.

I uninstalled uplay and old ubisoft game launcher and just use this files + included registry entries and it working fine

I have an idea - you know how in later games you could replay any memory? In AC2, this applied only to assassination contracts, races, etc.

Could you apply the replayability to the main sequences?

That would be amazing, if anyone can do it @aclair can, but it will probably be a nightmare.

I tried doing that but couldn't get it working - something to do with how secondary memories are treated by game. Always a chance I missed a method though.



00. Install ac2 game
01. Extract unlocker, scripter files
02. Copy to ac2.exe directory

binary\winmm.dll
binary\scripts\* (everything)

03. Edit scripts\*.ini
04. Play game



(Not working / abandoned) cut bonus stuff should be left alone until you've finished the entire game - don't want it messing up your saves. Or whatever.

01. Extract files to <ac2.exe> directory
02. Run *.exe file.
03. Play game
