Post subject:  The Ship

edit: aug 2011 - Back online!

edit: 03 jan 2011 - the hard disk of the server crashed, so the cracked server is offline for now; I'm not sure when it'll get fixed.
I'm still seeding the game!
edit2: 24 feb 2011 - My friend can't host the cracked server anymore. If anybody wants to host it, I'll give you the files and setup the DNS redirect from PatruDoi.tk for your IP! It's recommended that you have some experience in hosting Source games. PM me.

Torrenting here isn't wise. Most are here to just get what they want-leech.
It's better to make a Megaupload/Mediafire mirror.

Having my favorite game as a Standalone? It's about time.

Though I am with Source_Engine on this one. Torrents = BAD.

As long as it's seeded there's no problem ;)
Plus, as long as they're leeching, they're seeding too. So if someone gets a torrent slowly enough, he'll seed until completion to the others who came after him. I guess :)

If it doesn't work out, I'll put a mirror of the compressed game (yep it's uncompressed so people don't have to delete any archives and stop seeding  ).
Cheers!

Told ya to mirror it.
But you should know that file hosts delete files that aren't on a premium account after a period of time.

Speed and security-wise, you should take the work of upload this to one-click hosters, instead of creating a torrent. Have a look at this:

I know that stuff neighbor (I'm from Romania :)), I'm no noob. I'm insisting on torrent because file hosting relies on some idiot not reporting your archives.
I'm shocked 'cause it never happened on TPB. I have many torrents but that's a first, a torrent just disappearing.

Anyway, I've set up 2 servers, so people can play after they download. The problem is authentic steam_IDs get assigned a single ID and if another guy wants to play they get "STEAMID in use". Do you have any idea how I can fix this? I'm using the latest revEmu; I've tried with and without original steam.dll but it's the same thing. Any advice?

I can easily get 300KB/s over there.

Its limit for free users is about 2MB/s,let's not say more.
I have a 100Mbit connection and I download with ~1,5MB/s a single file.
