Post subject:  Fake bots bloking slots.
Hi I have problem with fake bots, someone hacking my server and sent (maybe it's hlfill but I don't known) to them fake bots players who block slots.
How can I block it ?

Yes I banned this address but in other my server, fake players have normal nick like "bob" "alan" etc.
and if I weite

I don't know if you bought a game server or if you set them up yourself. If you have access to some terminal - I guess they are running on Linux - you may try to view the currently connected IPs and ban the one, that has multiple connections.

The only way to stop it is to set sv_timeout 5 for example.... Only blocking A LOT of IPs in the firewall, but it wont solve it :S

RaMMz, try to install new dproto, it will drop those bots after ~4 seconds of inactivity.

Just block their IP ranges.

Bump.

Any new info on this? happens on my server, and yes I have the newest dproto running.
