The GC server, if I remember correctly, is in charge of items. While CM is in charge of everything else (wallet). Champions Online talks to the CM server for transactions, but the emulator is only meant to work with TF2. Nothing else.

Why this GC do not work with all steam games?

I trying start the Champions Online to get some Free Stuff, but the server say: WARN - Player XXXXXX is starting game (GC not available)

Why GC not available ?


    The things i did :

    Re-installed Steam and re-downloaded TF2.
    Extracted GreenLuma 2.0.9 and gcsdkServer_beta_20110719 in my Steam folder.

And use your internal IP, not the external

External: 89.165.170.121
Internal: 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.2 (EXAMPLE)

I deleted all the GreenLuma files, ran steam again but same story, no items in my backpack / no GameCoordinator in Friends List.

I'm not sure what u mean by 'internal IP'.

And how am i supposed to use the internal IP ? I don't have a router or a routable IP.

I tried to edit gc.ini like this :

But when i run Steam i get 'SocketException (10048) : Error binding socket to bind address'

Edit : I have tried this in one of my friend's computer, it's working. I did the same steps like in my computer. What's wrong ?

Client must be set to 127.0.0.1:27027 (localhost), else you have to set some NAT rules for your router.

Yes you need put Server and Client to 127.0.0.1

I did that, now when I try to log on my steam Freezes. After a few minutes it worked, but still no 'GameCoordinator' in my Friend List >.>

Send to us your: gc.log
and the GameCoordinator Server logs (Black screen with white texts)

the only available GC is for TF2 (440)
theoricaly the GC code is compatible with Portal 2 but i never had the chance to test it,


if nothing works, install wireshark and pm me a dump recored during steam start.

Now i got the Offline Training, but Dedicated Server i got the Steam Validation Rejected why?

steam validation reject is surely cause u created an Internet dedicated server (afaik items dont work on LAN ones, and LAN ones don't even connect to the cm server ) and u tried to access it as a lan server. i think it requires is to be on another server, not access with a lan ip .

qaq691, did u tried to create your own server ?

Maybe i understanded something else, with 'TF2 GameCoordinator' I can buy items from the shop for FREE? If yes, could someone show me how? ( record a movie or something )

I tried to buy something from the shop, it just sends me to 'add funds'.

step:1 if gc is working then go to mannco store
step:2 click start shopping
step:3 click the item you want and click add to cart
step:4 click checkout and then authorize
step:5 ...
step:6 PROFIT :ROFL:
but yeah that is it
