I'm stuck in chapter 8. This is my first bug and I'm using Mafia.2.V3.Chapter7.FIX.CRACK

HELP PLEASE

As far as I know, that's one of the first cracks that came around and it really wasn't that good. I suggest using SKIDROW's, because a lot of people have confirmed that it works for them.

The only bug I have come across in this game is every once in a while when I am driving the steering stops working.

Anyway. There is free roam between missions. There is no timjer between missions so you can roam around the map doing whatever you want between missions. To me that is an element of freeride.

I have tried different cracks but then my savegame would not work.

I'm trying to install Mafia II using sisinstall.exe but it says..

And freezes there, I've tried the newest sisInstall.exe from the main thread but no luck.

why should this make me feel "big"?
these are simple facts and compared to the first mafia or gta, its a pity that after 8 years of development this game ended up that way.
nonetheless its a great game, but could have been better.

My (same like AC2) problems at start:
i have ORIGINAL mafia 2; i don't want to use steam in order to install and play the game;
i used phoenix in order to unpack the game from the dvd to a folder on my HD.
Now: the game doesn't start, it launch steam; what i need to do?
There's some WORK way for an european version of mafia 2 in order to run it without steam using only the original sis sid files?

I tried some weird crack, i tried to combine multiple "crack" if this is the right way to consider them but the only thing i was able to see was: the FIRST physx copyright etc... and nothing more...it fades and ... BLACK SCREEN FOREVER ...
sometimes i'm asking myself why crackers don't make something "using their slogan "if you like it buy it"" for Legal Customer...
I like the game before, i believe in 2k, f**k this damn DRM, i don't want to use nothing more than my pc and a ".Zip" file in order to install it and play it...
Let's return to old sharewares from apogee!!! Damnit...a shareware at times like Wolf-3d rocks and was fun only with one episode.

right, for what i know by reviews: the game doesn't make you enjoy the free roaming...but at the last...we are talking about Mafia...and there isn't time for Enjoy in reality...btw the graphic seems good, the enviroment too...the story much more...so... here in italy they gave a 9.3 points on 10. i want to trust them...if only i was able to run the game -_-

Trying with a new extraction from original sis sid.
Now i will "test" all the cracks one by one.
I need to know:
what are the "missing files" from extraction? (if you used a iso from skidrow release you can tell me what files are inside SKIDROW dir)

this will update the informations about the game and decryption
2.retry
3.if you still have problems, wrote on the topic "release / sisinstall"
4.try with phoenix (i tried and i haven't any kind of error but (of course) the game doesn't run without steam)

I extracted the files from sis files, downloaded ncf files (can be found in SCS), verified the files, download all missing files (there has been posted an update in this topic here, search for mafia 2 update) and then just installed the Skidrow Crackfix.
That way I'm at least able to start the game, didn't have time to play the game yet. Several people have confirmed that this crack works, so there shouldn't be a problem.

this is odd... i did the same thing as you ( all files 100% in cft) and iam also using the skidrow crack but if i try to start it without having steam running in background (iSteam or smartsteam) it will just do nothing if i try to launch it.
