This tutorial only works with the supplied Black Ops.
I can't help people with other version: ali213/Epidemz.NET or any other russian version.

So this my tutorial on how to install and play Call of Duty: Black Ops [ENGLISH ALREADY VERSION]
Tested both Single Player & Zombie mode.
Multi-player probably won't work until AlterOps releases a working mp.

Prerequisites
You need to have, for both 32bit and 64 bit:
DirectX
Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable
Latest graphic drivers.

Needed files:
[MF]COD_Black_Ops_DownloadManager_EN_BY_JAX256.rar (Thanks to: jax256)
[HF]Call Of Duty Black Ops Crack Only.rar & [FS]Same crack (Thanks to: P2P)
[MU]codbov1.7z (Thanks to: d4rk99)
Phoenix Launcher 1.4 Beta 7

Start by:

1. Downloading the needed files.
2. Extract "COD_Black_Ops_DownloadManager_EN_BY_JAX256.rar".
3. Start Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_DownloadManager_EN.exe. This will download 11 files (1 exe, 10 rar).
   NOTE! This is the full english version. NOT RUS! (Might work with it, but I'm unable to help you with the Russian release.)
4. Once "Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_DownloadManager_EN.exe" is finished extract:
   (Rename: "Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_Setup_EN.part01.exe" to rar instead)
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1.sim
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1.sis
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_0.sid
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_1.sid
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_2.sid
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_3.sid
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_4.sid
   -Call of Duty- Black Ops_disk1_5.sid

5. Extract and run Phoenix. Press: "Instruments > Update ContentDescriptionRecord > Internet".
6. Let it finish. Press OK.
7. After that, press: "Instruments > SID Unpacker".
8. Where it says "SIM-file", press it and point it to where you extracted the files from #4.
9. Choose whatever destination folder you want.
10. Now press: "Scan a SIM-file" and the "Select all".
11. After that press "Unpack". It will now extract the files to your folder.
12. Now that you've done that, it's time to fix the crack.
13. Extract "codbov1.7z" & "Call Of Duty Black Ops Crack Only.rar" in separate folders.
14. From "codbov1.7z", take the main and zone folders & the localization.txt and move them to the game folder. the one you chose in #9.
15. From the "Call Of Duty Black Ops Crack Only.rar" file, choose these files:
    -BlackOps.exe
    -BlackOps MP.exe
    -installscript.vdf
    -steam_api.dll
    -steam_appid.txt
    -Steamclient.dll
16. And move them to the game folder.
17. Now you've got a working, english Black Ops copy.

I'm trying it

for a one-post-member really good tutorial. i am downloading it now and post if it works.

downloadspeed is between 1-2 MB/s . takes about 1 hour to finish for me.

btw: is that activision download manager legal and everybody can use it to download the preload files? if yes this would be a punch into activision's face xD

I've done verything in the tutorial,then open backops.exe then asks me if i want to run in safe mode whatever i press nothing happening.

Same here as above. And save yourself the time of thinking I did something wrong, it's got to be the crack.

What os are you running?
In the Task Manager, is blackops.exe still running?

then try another crack

Windows 7 x64 the blackops.exe process doesn't even open

simple step WAIT FOR SKIDROW

Try the registry file I uploaded:

"Fastfile for zone 'en_code_pre_gfx' is corrupt or unreadable"
What to do?

Did you follow the tutorial from the start, or did you try with the CLONEDVD (russian version). I think you can find all the files here: BLACK - OPS (Change Any Language to ENGLISH)
