hi out there.

some days ago me and my wannabe brother-in-law thought about how it would be playing shattaring horizon on a lan-party. we came to the result it should be funny if u´r a bit drunken^^ and so we got a look on it. fast we saw it is not working rly. u can create a server, but not connect to him. so i checked some command line commands. and finally --connect ip worked. i could connect to my own server.

if this information still exist, be cool. i did not rly watch if there is already an solution or something. hope this is useful for someone. maybe he/she wants to play shattered on lan too.

can you upload your revLoader files? i have some problem with My..

forgot to say, that u need steam.dll & steamclient.dll from revloader for the server too.

and my rev.ini

no prob.

i attached an little crappy batch launcher too. maybe its useful. for me, it is.


(copy the batch file where ur revLoader.exe is. maybe u have to edit the server launcher path)
maybe someone with some better skills can make an nicer one with an gui or something.

and btw. dont try to copy client and server files in one directory. the files in the data folder are not the same and it wont work.

First of all, sorry for necroposting but i've search on this forum without success a non steam patch for shattered horizon.

I've dl the game throug greenluma and i want to use a lan fix like this one. I'm used to use revLoader but impossible to get it workin' this time. Even with the indication from this topic.

If someone knows anything about it, thanks in advance.

I agree. I've also had trouble getting it to work. So, with any luck, someone will be a able to give us an updated version on how to play this game over a LAN. I own the game (it was only $5.00 on a steam sale) but it's not a lot a fun playing alone.

It would be awesome if someone makes possible to play the game without internet on LAN...

The game has dedicated server/LAN and works with steam,
there must be something to make it!

Download SH.1.3.1.54.7z from mirrorcreator.com
extract to "shattered_horizon" directory.
maybe standalone will follow.

thx for the Launcher-Tool!

so, i played SH while ago on a FREE WEEKEND by steam.
I copy SH from steam to a seperate folder, extract your Launcher in there, push #3 "start server launcher"
and it appears an error like "...cant find \server_exe\sh_server-gui.exe"

i think i dont have the server files....

A current standalone version would be GREAT!!! Would like to test it on a LAN.
