for steam006's crack you need to run both his launchers first - Shogun2Patcher to "activate crack"and Shogun2Launcher to run the game
-my Shogun2Start does that automaticaly( bat script) aka runs patcher and Launcher after that ;-) And it just has some workarounds for remaining crack issues included

There are couple things that might do some problems - first is ModManager.exe which seems to messes up launching on some machines (i just deleted it) and second is badly set Lumaemu.ini (for example enabled VR or enabled overlay)

without the ModManger.exe(from Steam006's crack), i cant use Steam006's crack at all.. i MUST run Shogun2Launcher.exe(that runs Shogun2.exe and opens ModManger.exe), i then run Shogun2Patcher.exe and click "Launch SHOGUN 2" from ModManger.exe window that opened..

strange for me it doesnt work this way - if i try to run it through Modmanger nothing happens - if i run it the way i run it from my Shogun2Start (aka run Launcher and Patcher right after that - you can check the bat file inside Shogun2Start.src ) with renamed ModManager to Modmanager_ it runs directly to the game and works fine (didnt managed to get it work with Modmanager activ on my main machine - This Modmanager is useless anyway ;-))

But OK -> Will try to do another version which works even with ModManager later on ;-) its just small changes ;-)

So is it possible to play latest Shogun Build on Fall oF The Samurai with a bunch of mods or still no way? If "yes" can some one give a tutoria or something because I really wanna play!

i find very strange that you need to run the patcher.exe first when that is the .exe that injects the LumaEmu_CEG.dll. and that would only properly work once the Shogun2.exe launches with the launcher.exe.

btw are you testing this on your legit game with steam running? because that is the only reason i can figure why your runs in the order you described.

will try to mess up more with it but yeah it works that way (but maybe the bad order is why it doesn't work with ModManager.exe).

As for steam i have steam running in the background pretty much all the time on laptop, but shogun2 is unistalled - testing it on full steamrip on my laptop and home desktop

But doesn't work for me :/ ... when I try to create a multiplayer campaign it says: Failed to host game

Im trying it with R.G. Gamblers Release and Shogun 2 Total War - Skidrow version

How to play multiplayer? Because I only want LAN with a friend! :(

I tried several times but no use my game just won't want to start and thats it.I did what you guys said but nothing i think my problem is that i have windows 8.1

try to check your game with this sfv (its for uncracked game), maybe you have some bad game files

Im trying it on win 7. No luck so far.
If ModManager.exe is present the game doesnt start at all - it stays in the Taskmanager window (StartShogun2,Shogun2Launcherand Shogun2 processes and ModManager process)
If ModManager isnt present (only ModManager_) i get to the first screen (the one with Shogun2 logo) and then the game chrashes to the desktop.

Im starting the game using prudislav's script, on legit steam files.

@testni - try new script with ModManager.exe present (fixed the run order thx to machine)
it should fix those issues ;-)
I guess i tested it too many times and too many workinprogress scripts that in the end i uploeaded the bad one :-D

prudislav got it to work on win 7 :D.

Here's how to do it on windows 7 x64 and win 8.1 x64:

1. disable antivirus
2. download "launcher (batch script) with workarounds for the remaining "crackbugs"" (steam006's crack + prudislav's modifications) prudislav posted on page 56
3. extract it to your game folder
4. download " Shotgun2TW.rar" prudislav posted on page 57
5. extract to game folder, overwrite
6. delete any "ModManager.exe" files BUT NOT "ModManager_.exe"
7. rename "ModManager_.exe" to "ModManager.exe"
8. start "StartShogun2", press 2, press enter
9. the following part is important, a new window will open (Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Mod Manager window) with "Launch SHOGUN 2" button, DO NOT press the button immediately or you will get to see the shogun 2 logo and then crash to desktop. Let the mod window on for lets say 3-5 5̶-̶1̶0̶ seconds (the best way to tell when it ok to press the button, is to look for the blue circle next to your mouse - "busy mouse pointer", when its gone its safe to press the button) then press the button.
10. c̶h̶a̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶s̶e̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶s̶, play
11. when you exit the game, press enter in the "press any key to continue" window and all Shogun 2 processes will be closed in Taskmanager

To set and save the game's grafical settings, open "StartShogun2", select option 1, a new text window with your settings will open, modity it as you see fit and save

Everything ingame works (tried all 3 campaigns, all historical battles (gong can be pressed to start the mission), random battles, the game is at latest version), e̶x̶c̶e̶p̶t̶ ̶s̶e̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ ̶s̶a̶v̶i̶n̶g̶.

W̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶r̶y̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶w̶i̶n̶ ̶8̶.̶1̶ ̶x̶6̶4̶ ̶t̶o̶m̶o̶r̶r̶o̶w̶ Tested works.

yea that's the right order and right files (base steam006 crack with ModManagr.exe from his crack and the new workaround launcher)

well from what I tested 3 seconds( in my launcher there is 3 second wait between launch of Shogun2Launcher and Shogun2patcher exes ) is enough (just not do it immediately - let the progress bar which is there fully load)

option 0 - just copies standard normal settings into the game (taken from legit game)


will post full "workaround launcher+crack" soon - I guess I messed up the first pack with bad script ;-)

I missed that one completely :D. But yeah it works as you described.

Tried it on win 8.1 x64, also works like a charm (will edit the previous post to remove mistakes)
