thanks for the help

i have a question though, can i play with a friend who has a legit steam copy of portal 2?
i tried it and it wouldn't do anything so im not sure.

If I'm not wrong the person with legit steam must switch steam to offline mode, then connect to hamachi or tunngle then host a game, only the person with the legit copy should host or there might be problems.

I would just like to add that cracked and legit versions CAN play together, despite what some have said, I just tried it with a friend.

- The person with the cracked version must host (you'll get "steam validation rejected" if the legit owner hosts).
- The legit owner must be in Offline Mode in Steam. Steam menu > Go Offline.
- Connecting via Direct IP and Tunngle work fine.

Then the rest is the same as the instructions on the first post.

If you have a friend with a legit version and has completed co-op, then you can go to any level as it's already saved and unlocked for them.

How solve problems of not-save of emoticons and "restart-all-chapter"?
We must wait for a new crack?

If your game keep crashing you should install update 2 also you got few languages! But Turkish sucks for a reason in game -.-

Does anyone find Map Editor? I try everything but no luck.When in Console type edit you get editor_toggle but when i press enter my game block (screen freeze but mouse cursor work).

okay... lol i just realized my rip doesnt have any coop stuff... can someone upload the coop stuff? i've already got the coop maps but not other coop sprites and stuff

I (non-legit) hosted and my legit friend was able to connect without problem. And VPN isn't necessary if you know how to port forward.

I'm playing coop with a friend using map mp_blabla command successfully, but I want to know if with the Steam method you mention here I could solve the not-saving emoticons problem, because it really downgrades the fun in coop when you're not saving any progress. I mean, there must be a way to simulate the real coop campaign out there. Thank you!!

just press the console button each time your done loading u see the level name in the upper right corner then next time use that map to load kinda save progress...

Thats pretty stupidify.... i only have one gesture Anyone knows how to get all gestures. We finished coop with my friend. But we cant do any gestures , there is a only one gesture.
