How To Disable Motion Blur On Fear 3 (PC) If you’re anything like me, you will find one of the most frustrating part about PC games that are ported from console the lack of configuration control you’ll get with most games. Fear 3 is no exception to this rule, with motion blur enabled by default with no easy way to turn it off, and no way to do so via the tried and tested method of messing with configuration options. So then how are you supposed to turn it off? Simply download this patch! Be sure to make a backup of your file (an option within the patch program) so you can restore your original file when needed. Alternatively, if you would rather patch the file yourself manually, Install a hex editor of your choice and open the games main executable file. When open search for the following hex: 61636820746F000043616D65726152 Once found, change it to this: 61636820746F00004E6F426C757252 Save the executable and enjoy the complete lack of motion blur!, of course if you ever want to turn it back on, or future updates allow more advanced options with the ability to turn it off within the menu, you can just change the hex codes back to what they were and you’re ready to go. Hope you guys find this useful!

hi all i have problem with level 07 port when you destroy one robot is ok i kill these two soldiers and i go to one soldier who is in glass cube or what is it i see loading show on screen but nothing work so is bug because on youtube when you go near to soldier which is in cube then must see only video and there is finish level but for me nothing video can see i try restart checkpoint but nothing happened  i have version darkside if i copy save games file to skidrow release it is works? so f..uk up fear 3 bugs i try used skidrow release but if not work pls send me save file on level 08 thanks |

I tried this: 1) Installed update1 2) deleted Steamclient.dll 3) MP crack from this thread: viewtopic.php?p=750090#p750090 (chavo12345 post) 4) Summary: only one file is updated - "Patch.dsPack" inside resources directory) 5) launch SmartSteam 6) Steam "add a game, add a non-Steam game". 7) Launch game. Everything is working for me. |

That can't be the solution, because with that you are still playing with the old version.. (see in the splash screen) I think a new MP crack needs to be made. |

Yes, it is still old executable. But there are some fixes inside updated "Patch.dsPack" file. And coop works. Finished coop few hours ago - "Bad ending"  .
