No, they are different versions. The 16.00.20.1035 version is the one from the original post and it's old. (But it's the version where most people play) The 16.00.20.1060 version is the updated one with improvements and that addresses the problem that you said: Quote: * Stuttering and jerky movement at frame rates above 30 fps is fixed!
* Steam voice communication "push-to-talk" option is now fully supported.
* 4-player voice chat should no longer have audio drop-outs.
* A rare bug that would cause enemies to stop spawning in Contractions is now fixed.
* The game will now prefer Steam cloud storage over local file system storage.
* Network connection reliability has been improved.
* Support for wider than 16x9 aspect ratio displays has been added to support users with non-standard display devices and spanned multi-monitor displays like AMD Eyefinity and NVIDIA Surround.
* An "options.cfg" file has been added to the F.E.A.R. 3 install directory for advanced user customization and troubleshooting. Included in this file are options to extend the FOV on narrow aspect ratio displays, reduce or remove motion blur, and to override driver-default settings for full-screen refresh rate, overscan, letterboxing, etc. The new version doesn't have many people playing it yet, but that's because it's new.

hey? where about THE REGION (usa atlata, germany, italy,....etc) for smartstean???

i have version skidrow i need save game after level 07 so i need beginning of level 08 because at 07 i have error i dont have seen video ( i down one save game which is level 08 and everything i copy to my save folder but it dont work i dont know why i start new game and i see only level 01 why??? folder is 21100 and there is storage, data ( variants.var, user.profile, fear31.dssave, fear30.dssave, and folder stats.bin so which folder i must copy to my folder that it works??? i think that user profile i dont copy??, pls help sorry for my bad english http://www.ulozisko.sk/417452/21100.zip there is file just on kontrolny kod type this 4 letters and click stiahni subor

Got the latest patch and the crack for it, friend joined through friends list and we started a game but we get disconnected the second a level loads.
Any idea?

yea, my guess is one of you, your settings files got corrupted, and the game will crash like this when that happens.
delete the files in the folder C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata back them up to a zip file in case this does not work
then start the game up again
you will have to set up your controls all over again and you lose any saved games.

It's bugging the hell out of me, we both have similar connections, no firewall, we're like 45-60 minutes from each other, running similar versions and nothing is working.
