Multiplayer fix for Bunch.of.Heroes.v1.0.multi4.cracked.READ.NFO-THETA

  6. Hi Guys,
  7.  
  8. I give u a multiplayer fix for Bunch of Heroes.
  9. Here we go. Say BIG thx ;)

  11. First of all:

  13. 1. Install Bunch.of.Heroes.v1.0.multi4.cracked.READ.NFO-THETA
  14. 2. Copy steam_appid.txt AND storm_api.dll in "\Bunch of Heroes\" ( Same folder as Game.exe )
  15. 3. Install Steam.
  16. 4. Make a new blank steam Acc and start Steam.
  17. 5. Add some friends or open a group and invite them ( if u don t have any games on this acc ).
  18. 6. After all start your Game using Game.exe ( U can use Steam -> Add external Game to make a shortcut )
  19. 7. Now your steamacc shows your friends that ur playing Trackmania nations.
  20. 8. Now create a Game. Only Coop is working on the current version.
  21. 9. If your friends done this guide as well they can now join over thier friendlist to your game if they are ingame ( Press shift + tab ). Right Click -> Join game.
  22. 10. Now Hf & GL

  25. For some troubleshooting reasons i also include oalinst.exe if Bunch of Heroes won't start with OpenAL32.dll Error.
  26. Just doubleclick on oalinst.exe and install the files which are needed.

delete all data in server folder EXCEPT steam_appid.txt
copy all data from bunch of heroes to server folder
Copy storm_api.dll from my patch above to ur server folder and overwrite it
edit zero gear.bat to -> cd Server START Game.exe
Click on Zero Gear and Bunch of Heroes should start now.
Afterall PLAY!

I followed all the steps, but I could not join a server..
The 'join game' was disabled.

you only can join your friends game. you can 't play on legit servers ;). But for me works both online n' offline game lobby. I can join my friends

Is something in the corner "Steam community is enabled in this game bla bla" if thats not popup after/while starting the game menue u don t follow my instructions.
You know that u ve to run steam while playing BoH and you ve to join over your friendslist!. Its more an Lan or steam fix to play with your friends. Its NOT an CRACK to play the whole multiplayer with guys that have bought the game!

One friend, and me, followed all the instructions.
We tried to connect to each other in coop, we tried using normal steam and GreenLuma.
We can see each other in steam, by pressing shift+tab, as playing trackmania nations forever.

The "Access the steam community" popup appears when we load the game.

We also tried to run the game through tunngle, but it made no difference.

When we right-click the player name in the friend's list, the "Join Game" option is not clickable.

thats sounds really strange. I don't know why this problem happens. I ve an idea, maybe it helps if you go to your SteamApps folder in your Steam folder. Create a new folder named "common" and copy the Bunch of Heroes Folder in it ( i.e. /Steam/Steamapps/common/Bunch of Heroes/ ) . Then try to start the game and try to join :) It could solve this problem. Give it a try.

i created steam group so people can find easier other to play with.

lol the people you see are playing DI and im wondering why i cant join xD until i saw a friend playing DI and i saw his lobby in Bunch of heroes xD
but its working i tested with a friend we only need to find a unused id for the game

yeah i just said thats working ;) and it works with zero gear demo too! Lovely to announce the second Lan-Multiplayer-fix for ya.

Download zero gear demo
delete all data in server folder EXCEPT steam_appid.txt
copy all data from bunch of heroes to server folder

Click on Zero Gear and Bunch of Heroes should start now.

why so complicated just change steam app id to the zero gear one :?: :shock: :?: it worked for me but i see again some servers from a different game ...
or is this only needed when u want play lan ??
