I installed steam and the latest cracked package (which was last updated this week) as well as downloaded all the content files (binaries for both single player and multi) and put them in the correct place. When I launch cracked steam it shows all the games available and has call of duty black ops and call of duty black ops multiplayer highlighted in white. When I click play to launch the single player Black Ops game it runs fine, but when I click "play" for the Black Ops multiplayer a window pops up briefly saying "starting up game" or whatever it says right before it is supposed to load, then the box disappears as if it is about to load but does nothing, the game does not load and it just sits there. I have checked my running processes in windows after trying to play it several times to see if there is a process running for Black Ops multiplayer but there isn't. I have been stuck for hours trying to figure this out. I am running windows 7 x64. Also, I am not sure if this is related, but there is an issue with the steam client itself, when I go to "View > Servers" at the main steam client home to see the available servers I can play steam opens up the severs window and immediately crashes (it just says "Steam has stopped working", with no specific reason why). Just thought that might be related. |

Try running the multiplayer exe from the game folder directly |

I have tried that, and the same thing happens, the game exe is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\BlackOpsMP.exe , when I run it the loading cursor comes up for a second as if it's going to load then nothing happens. |
