Hello, I was fooling around a bit last night and fixed with an russian and an american account so that I ca buy from both american, european and russian steam store... I already ordered a few games from all of these stores, but I started thinking about game language... If I gift, let's say, black ops from my russian account to my european account, will I get the english version, or will I get a russian language version? Anyone know? |

Depends on the game. In the case of Black Ops it seems like they are selling the same product in Russia as in europe (except Germany), so you should be fine. For other games this won't work, afaik Duke Nukem Forever will be russian only. |

Thank you for your reply... Duke Nukem Forever isn't in the russian steam as far as I can see... The reason I'm wondering is becouse sites that sell steam keys from russia marks it as a russian only language game (example: http://cdkeyshere.com/call-of-duty-blac ... d-key.html), but the russian steam store say that it's available in english (http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/?cc=ru)... confusing

i think, its possible to buy from RUS account to EU/US acc, and language will be fine. please post result here |

can't test right now since the internet is being crap over here, but it say that the game is available in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish in the Steam settings for the game, so guess it worked... gotta check when I get home from work 2morrow to make sure, but so far so good ^^, |

This site is the same for all steam stores (us, ru, uk,...). A Valve employee confirmed that it is currently not possible for them to change this. Best thing to do: Check what subscription they are offering you in Steam store and then check what this subscription includes. |
