Post subject:  Experiencing lag when launching through steam.
Hello, I"m experiencing problems with cracked steam.(Tried GreenLuma and Steam Installation Wizard)

My problem: Whenever I launch a game(both steam and non-steam) through steam, it lags, even Little Fighter 2... But if I create a desktop shortcut and launch it, there is no lag. And if I launch it through legit steam, there is no lag too.

Any1 knows a solution?(Besides having all those shortcuts on my desktop.)

If you open the task manager when the game is laggy, which process(es) are using the CPU the most?

Does it happen if you use this pre-update version of Steam plus SmartSteam, for example?

It started right before (a day or two) before the update.

Well, it started before the update, so I used a pre-update version.

Here is my list of processes:
(There is no difference if I launch it through steam or from desktop) (Only thing maybe, is that through a desktop shortcut, the CPU Usage % is going a little lower time to time).

It is unusual for the "System" process to use the amounts of RAM displayed in your screenshot. If I remember correctly, one of the causes was using certain antivirus software. You might want to disable/close yours and see what happens.

I never had this issue, so I can only guess at the possible culprits.

That makes me think that the antivirus is not involved. My guess would be that the crack is doing something wrong.

Yeah, you"re right. It makes no difference. In both cases(antivirus on/off) games still lag if launched through cracked steam.
