If this is a serious attempt at coding something new, I can move this thread to the developer forum, but bear in mind two things: no one said this is easy, particularly if you don't have coding experience, and this sort of information isn't usually shared in public, as Valve reads this forum too. .cue made a tutorial about cracking Steam, which you can find here. As you can tell from the datestamp, it's very old. From what I've seen the developers here post, a lot has changed since then, specially with the last update... but it may still work for reference purposes, at least. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems this is a guy who wants to play a game that has no crack yet, he's never tried it before as he's asking about using the trial version of VS and using a CD-key with it. He's also asking for a 720p or 1080p video tutorial. If this is the case, I mean this in the nicest way possible: Forget it, you won't be creating a working crack for any game any time soon. |

If your asking to make a video tutorial on how to make a Steam crack, forget it. Anything that is publicly known is publicly known to everyone. Valve sees your video and then goes, "Make update. Break cracks." That's why none of the Steam cracks here are OPEN source. That and we don't want n00bs making basic variants on the cracks from here. If you really know your stuff, then READ posts/topics in the developer section and learn how. Then, with some code proving you know your stuff, post asking for help. Until then, don't bother. |
