Hi all friends of cs.rin.ru! I have a question for you, i want to set-up a css no steam client without using semi steam or other things similar to that, in few words i want to make a css standalone I have tried to following severals guides, like these: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=50223 but i miss some GCF files, i think because of the updates of the game Someone can help me? BTW: sorry for my bad english... |

Put a better thread title and tag for you. Here's a newer and more thorough tutorial by Source_engine, have you checked it out already? |

Ty very much .Rar i'm following that guide but when it comes to extract the GCFs files it's written to extract first "source xxxxxxx.gcf files" and then "source 2007 xxxxxxx.gcf files" but i also have other files like :"counter-strike source binaries" "counter-strike source client" "counter-strike source shared" "multiplayer ob binaries" "orangebox media" etc.. what file should i extract first? TY again!!! |

Here (on the right) you can read a list of the GCFs required to run Counter-Strike Source, in case you need it. I don't think order matters since they probably contain separate portions of the game each (not on my desktop PC at the moment, so I can't check). |
