I have googled this for hours and looked through these forums and i cant find an answer i have created an extracted .gcf version of garrys mod using rev emu i did everything exactly the same as i did to portal and half life 2 and they run fine except when i run it i get an Engine Error saying NO STEAM APPS! i extracted these .gcf's in the order they are in garrysmod content source 2007 binaries source 2007 shared materials source 2007 shared models source 2007 shared sounds source materials source models source sounds |

Are the GCFs updated? And you need to extract multiplayer ob engine.gcf instead of source 2007 binaries.gcf. |

okay, on the steam client on top left corner click on Steam Exit. this basically refeshes Cloud Sync i have this problem alot its from updating your Addons. hope this helped if not delete ClientRegistry.blob and click launch on steam and it will restart platform. if none of these work reinstall steam.

Thankyou for your replies i am not using steam though it runs perfectly through steam but i am making an extracted version of it so i can give it to friends and run it off a usb i tried extracting multiplayer ob engine.gcf instead of source 2007 binaries.gcf but that didnt work it kept on coming up with another error im still trying to fix it though does anyone know any other sites maybe more dedicated to cracking garrys mod? |
