Sorry about asking this really nooby question but i have looked for ages and cant find anything but old links Does anyone know where to place mods for Half-life 2 or any other source based game if it has been extracted and cracked so it is portable i just need to know where to put my mods for Half life 2 PORTABLE Thankyou in advance |

In the same directory as hl2.exe, as far as I know. |

Ok i finally found what to do place the mod folder into the same place where you extracted your .gcf's then create a shortcut to the hl2.exe the same for ordinarily launching the game except you make : -game yourmodfolder instead of : -game hl2 or -game portal but i also will need the source sdk.gcf's  more downloads
