Hello everyone,

I don't find a solution to my problem, I make a map with a friend and I would like to create a lan server just to test it together.
I always get "download the leaked version", but I have the latest version of game and last version of SDK to create my map with my friend.

Even if I bought the game, I could not create a server and test my map in private. I can't simply have a .cfg to exec on a console like Source Engine ?

this is also my problem, the other people are able to play it only because they downloaded the leaked BETA.

That's the main problem with the actual version of crysis 2.

I was hoping that some guy could update the leaked beta with the actual patches but with keeping the LAN possibilty from the leaked beta to make some "perfect" crysis 2 but it has not happen

This isn't completely true, There is a Crysis 2 Retaliation Pack. The update is by Kiselkov.

The updates/patches on this sites are only for Crysis 2 leaked beta, so you can play Crysis 2 in LAN/tunngle networks with less bugs and more features

Kiselkov's site:
1. the version is able to be played on tunngle networks
2. fixed some server/client connecting errors
3. completely redesigned game menu with an language changing option
4. new maps (DLC)
5. maybe some other makeovers

How to instal PATCH ?
Extract all in main folder, program files**/**/crysis 2

How to instal update ?
Go on crysis root folder ../../Crysis 2/, Extract update and paste with his sub folders, copy and replace all,
exemple C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crysis2\*update here*

What are the bugs ?
We haven't players names on scoreboard in team instant action
game crash if you speak too much in lobby
if players cheat or fly, the game can be crash
if client game or server crash, your progress is lost
if you shoot continously (in loop) with mounted weapon it s could crash
we can't change the name game easy, but it s possible

How can i save my rank ?
at the end of your partys , turn back on single player (campaign menu) and close game, and yours xps are saved
or backup/zip profil folder your self

most people are bored too loose progress, so you can start automatically in level 50
with key F9 in game on servers managed by FERCON
or write pp_defaultUnlockAll = 1 in system.cfg or in console, we understand that, don't worry
sometime you need to do a right clic on profil folder, property and uncheck write protection

HOW TO CHANGE "KISELKOV" NAME (after installing this update):
- In your game folder, there is folder "Engine", it contains .PAK files.
Open Engine.pak with WinRar. Than open folder Config.
Edit file "gamespy.cfg", instead of Kiselkov type your own name.


Updates:
PATCH_1F : only for test, new weapon FY71, anticheats, optimized, DX11, clans mods, Fixs
extract all at main folder of the game, start PATCH.CMD and create a new profil (made by Alexandr_war)
(I think you should just use update 2 and 3 but I'm not shure, try it )

UPDATE2 : DLC maps pack (Retaliation, Decimation by Kiselkov):

update 2 is only available as torrent download, maybe someone can upload it on mediafire or somewehere else

it can be applied on that leaked beta or it works with final game too?

It's just for the BETA. In the final release of the game there is no possibility to play in LAN mode.
