I' m new here. I just registered because I encounter one problem with my cracked steam.

Seems that everytime I try to sign in, the engines stops.

I' ve already encountered this again due to one acceptance of an official steam update, but when I installed a newer version of cracked steam, the problem was fixed

This time, I said no to the official update, but again, I can 't sign in...

My account name is *Removed*

I have to add that I use the early February version of cracked steam. I cannot install the setup of the new version due to one runtime error at the setup. I don 't mind if I don t do the update.

Y'know, "cracked steam" is not really an application. It's an abstract concept that is realised in form of an application - like today's newest (and possibly the only working) app GreenLuma. You can get it at the Releases section.

To have it installed without problems do this steps accordingly:
1. Delete everything from Program Files\Steam install folder except Steam.exe, steamapps, depotcache and userdata.
2. Run Steam.exe and let it update itself fully.
3. Close Steam, download latest GreenLuma from Releases.
4. Unpack it in Program Files\Steam folder.
5. Run GreenLuma.exe, filling in your blank account info.
6. Enjoy

There was a installer called "Cracked Steam", which was posted and updated by a member called Anti-Steam, although he's stopped publishing it, at least in these forums. It allowed you to choose which crack you wanted (back when there was more than one ) and other perks.

Anyway, I second the recommendation of installing the latest GreenLuma. Valve breaks it semi-regularly with updates, but Steam006 catches up just as fast. And a Steam.cfg file can work around that.

By the way, a somewhat better thread title would be nice

As I'm a power user, I like to choose my own destiny , so I never used this app. It may have been useful for inexperienced users, but IMO less bloatware is better.
And OFC this app is no longer useful, so why bother?

Thank you all so much, it worked just perfect. I already had GreenLuma but i didn 't know the installation procedure

I also noticed that I could activate ALL my games through my library (that I couldn 't do it with some of them before) and this is COOL!!!

The only thing I wanna know now is if I 'll encounter this problem with the official steam updates again (which sucks actually because always causes mess in my account)

As .Rar said, "Valve breaks it semi-regularly with updates". In that case, just download the next version of GreenLuma (when it's published), and unpack to the Steam folder, overwriting previous files.

Just make sure you're using a blank acc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand here you didn't read the stickies and rules of this forum.

As I also said You can use Steam.cfg to block updates. That way, you aren't left unable to play when one of them breaks GreenLuma.

I remember doing this was mandatory in the days before memory patching became commonplace... we've advanced so much!
