CS.RIN.RU - Steam Underground Community

I know, there was a time where alternative Steam clients existed besides Steam cracks. Now it looks like they're vanished.

In some situations it would be very handy for me if I can download games from my legit Steam account without Steam.
Does someone know a tool which is capable of this? Thanks in advance.

When I last cheked it, DepotDownloader was console-only and could download files but not ncfs. And its source-code only, you'll have to compile it.

I was also wondering how nobody mentioned CFT. It basically does nearly everything Steam does (minus launching games, obviously).

Yeah.
Just find out that CF Toolbox is working again. Last time I remember I couldn't do anything because it refused to start.
But DepotDownloader looks great, too, because it's very light and fast. I'm working a bit on an update for this so it'll use new features of SteamKit2 like Steam Guard support.
