CS.RIN.RU - Steam Underground Community

Hey guys,

I got problems with making a standalone of Condition Zero for LAN:
It works using UCL, but I'm not sure, if it will work, if I make a copy of UCL to everyone, because it needs the Steamapps folder... have to try that. But I would prefer UCL-independent Standalones...

I took the Minimum Print created bei UCL2 and took the working RevEmu wich came with UCL2.
I get these following error messages:
RevEmu: Steam.dll ---> Failed to initialize authentication interface. Exiting...
Orig: Steam.dll ---> SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012F960) failed with error 108: The local Steam Service is not running

RevEmu: Steamm.dll + steamclient=true ---> hl.exe crash (without error)
Orig: Steam.dll + steamclient =true ---> SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012F960) failed with error 108: The local Steam Service is not running


Can anyone help me out?

add -steam launch parameter

-steam launch parameter was there (also tried it without).

Which files do I exactly have to use? Those from the "steam"-dir?
Also those Orig-files?

In the end I'm really confused...

Okay, looks like it works It does not crash.

Can you tell me, what the problem was? Are the files you uploaded the latest?

Just replace them
I found them in the fasi001 release, latest revemu is broken with the GoldSrc games
