hi. can anyone tell me any method to over come this issue. so I can add friends to my steam account.
I just need to add friends to my steam. I actually don't prefer to tell people to add me. I would rather like to add them
cause there are many people I know who don't have any legit game in their steam if I have one at least I can add them and play with them. OR if you have any activation key for any working steam game (not beta or free or addons or DLCs just the full version) please PM me if it's possible so I can add friends then. this is a big help to me.

the reason I need to add friends.
1. so I can chat with friends inside the game
2. I can join to a specific season on Shoot Many Robots game rather than joining to a random season hosted by a total stranger.
or like these games. in the right side panel I can see their names if I have used the NBA image patch with this game.so I can invite them and I play.

There is no actual way to add Friends without activating a gift or registering a CD key in Steam.

The SMNC method mentioned in the thread above still works, you can get a key in only a few hours.

Alternatively, if you have a Reddit account that's older than a few days, you can get 2 Lucid keys and use 1 of them for your cracked Steam account. (link)
