This small but affected application, will speed up steam on your computer. it changes the process priority to Realtime So you get the most out of Steam without any lag. How to install, put the bat file in your steam directory. Example. C:\Program Files\Steam I hope you enjoy this, I will be releasing other versions soon, but to speed up your steam games instead. That is a seriously wrong idea. No application in Windows NT system is given a higher priority than 13 (High). Quote: Real-time priority is really dangerous. It's higher priority than nearly everything else. It's higher priority than mouse input, keyboard input, and the disk cache. If you foolishly set the priority class of a CPU-intensive program to real-time, it will suck up your entire processor, leaving no cycles for anything else. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2010/06/10/10022675.aspx

Moved to the main forum. The developer section is for offering and requesting help for "real" projects, like your GreenLuma frontend. A batch file that alters Steam's process priority can, with no offense meant, be made by anyone.

We need vote buttons for posts/threads so we can down vote this into oblivion. Seriously, ''color 0a" makes you look like a douchebag, but that's it.
