Hello!


errr i had a unexpected problem with the game Portal 2
i get this CEG protection error when i start it it pops up twice the game starts fine but when i do a level it will freeze and do APPSALUTLY NOTHING and when i look at the menu bar its not there
Also yes i belive i got the latest version 2.3.9 on greenluma well maybe not installed Do i have to delete the old version then place it with the new version

Is there help I CANT DO THE NEW PORTAL 2 DLC IN 6 MORE DAYS! IM LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

Also:if no one knows The new portal 2 dlc will be out May 8th 2012

Its gonna make your level editing life a bit more easier

Did you verify your files in CF Toolbox? I know at least one file will not validate due to CEG. But things like Maps and materials should.

If you own the game legally, why are you asking here? Steampowered forums is a better place to ask for help if you have legal ownership of the game.

Anyways thats not importaint

The game got messed up later on in greenluma i found out my legally game own abouts is 97 percent complete :/ I dont under stand is it greenluma my friend Bonk Boy (or as named gazza)he also had it i helped him with it he was expecting problems with Portal 2 as the same as im having and L4d2 he owned both but they expect some problem exept ceg problem for portal 2 i'd rather ask here,

i mean the game loads perfectly but when i try to load a SP map it like messes up like sometimes dosent load sometimes half way Plus the Co-Op wont even load properly

Like I said, check your files with CF Toolbox. I know at least a couple of files won't be valid due to CEG, but not all of them.

I Disobeyd this and reinstalled portal 2, would that work?

Re-installation means that all files will be re-downloaded, this may work out, if the problem was about your files.
