b00t Why has Valve been not talking about Ep3/HL3? DotA2 is a big deal and CS:GO is going to be a big hit as well. So, I guess they will get to it after that. The TF2 team is pretty much "Pick hat, Rename it, sell it" Portal 2 is pretty much self sufficient. Left 4 Dead 1/2 is "pick a mutation on occasion and run that" |

Gryphes, I'd respect your opinion if you went and at least tried Half-Life 2, or heck, Half-Life 1 which is considered an absolute classic, before judging the entire franchise and saying Mass Effect is better. And that's just it, you really can't COMPARE two things, if you haven't had a personal experience with both of them. Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, as mentioned previously, just barely represents the Half-Life series. It's a tech demo, in other words, it's not supposed to amaze the player with story, gameplay or whatever, it focuses on the graphics and the new at the time HDR technology made by Valve. That would be like if you downloaded a TV show, watched a few deleted scenes without seeing an actual episode and immediately putting the "SHIT!" label on it. Dumb, right? Think about it. |

Think about it. yeah I can understand what you meant. but I've watched a lot of gameplay videos on youtube. in fact once I saw in my college someone was playing Half Life 2. so I think I don't need to try it myself. so I can hereby say Half Life series is an hype as much as Diablo, Call of Duty, etc..... I know everyone has a different taste so what I prefer might not suit for you. anyway I am a different one I don't believe or follow those stereotypes, hypes exist in the society. I have my own philosophy. so I don't play games or watch movies because it has 10/10 rating or vast majority try it. |

Use greenluma to download it. All games good or bad are hyped. It's just business tactics to gain or keep it known. |
