My friend installed the Black box version.I installed the Skidrow.He has "Steam not running" error while he has deleted the "junk" files and installed the mpfix2 and he has steam running on the backround.
Any solutions besides downloading the Skidrow version?Also whats the easiest way.Steam friends or Gamespy friends way?

Thanks,he just needed to reinstall steam that was all.We managed to play a game together but now we have a different problem.
I installed the fix for the key bindings and it worked like a charm,my friend did it and it didnt change anything.He even reinstalled the game again but still nothing.Any solutions?

just wanted to post the results of my friend and me:
steam only didnt work
steam+tunngle didnt work
steam+hamachi didnt work
steam+evovlehq DID work
so if anybody of you got trouble running this game, try evovle!

Hi, Is it still possible to play coop with this game? now since gamespy is dead. I've tried tunngle and evolve with the systemlink (lan) option and it didn't work

Any chance we did something wrong? i did find a lot of people saying evolve worked but maybe it's the older version of it that did. Anyway Installing the game (no crack) adding the mpv2 update and trying evolve in game via system link didn't work for us. we have also tried changing the steam appid to recent ones that worked...

LAN doesn't have anything to do with steamworks. So I guess you could just use an offline crack (from the latest update).
You could also try SSE, but I doubt that works.
