The fact is that Tunngle has more users. I was trying to play Borderlands 2 last weekend in coop with Evolve and I only found another user. I switched to Tunngle and I kept playing with four more people. So, it's just that: Evolve needs more players.

This thread is about Evolve vs Tunngle; I was just simply pointing out a (future) advantage Evolve might have over Tunngle for some :)

I think more people just need to use Matchmaker. With newcomers, it seems they give Matchmaker a try for a short period of time, and if nobody is found, they just give up, which basically prevents the Matchmaker from gaining more users. Borderlands 2 around launch was pretty popular on Matchmaker though, same with Torchlight II, but now, not so much (there will still be the occasional person from time to time though).

Tunngle will have a lot more epic features when it gets released! Yeah, I want to remember you; Tunngle is still in Beta.

Ah, wasn't aware Tunngle was still in beta.

Slightly unrelated, but I went to http://www.tunngle.net/ to check out the site, and I like how the top-right says "100% ADFREE" and then there's a button that same page "Advertise on Tunngle" :p

Evolve is better, but for some reason Saints Row 2 won't cooperate with it... At least for me.

It's their new feature: Tunngle Premium. You won't have ads, etc.
They have to make money :p

Wrong tunngle has been in beta for ever only reason why it has more users because it lets you make dumb videos and tut's on how to play they dont enforce the you need to buy the game rule where as in evolve they dont want videos posted about such stuff. if they did enforce the buy rule i guess alot of people like you roy would need to buy the game and make a tut on how to play lan with out useing crack or download this or torrent this ect once that was enforced they would need to enforce the ban hammer aswell. in short they both do the job no matter how you look at it.

Don't quote me on this, but I don't really believe the devs at Evolve care about videos relating to how to make Evolve work with cracked clients. I believe there's a few Minecraft-related tutorials of people using pirated versions.

You just can't go into the main group chat and public forums and ask/demand support for pirated/cracked games (yeah, I bolded demand because someone actually did this once...). This rule exists in a lot of other places too, and is in no way specific to Evolve (you can't just go on Steam's forums asking for support for a cracked version of Dishonored or go on Xbox forums and ask how to flash a custom firmware to your disc drive for piracy; you'll be banned pretty quickly). But... people probably wouldn't know otherwise if the game was cracked if you don't just flat out say it...

Places that encourage such behavior or let it run rampant (at least in the US) probably would be a fine target for DMCA takedowns and other legal stuff, due to piracy itself.. not being legal (once again, at least in the US). Whether or not you have a justified reason for piracy isn't the question here, point is, it's illegal (in the US at least :p).

Oh, I didn't even saw kaz050 post, I blocked him.
But yeah, that's why I like Tunngle so much. Users who have problems with their cracked games can get help from us.
Tunngle doesn't officially support piracy, but we can speak about it without banning.
I believe they don't even ban people.
The only thing actually they do is removing full game download links and they have wordfilters (for crack, etc).
But I can give support to "noobs" and a lot of tutorials are been created for Tunngle.
The admins are also really nice. They don't really care if you use a pirated game, only if it works for Tunngle.
But of course, they are not allowed to "officially support" piracy.
We speak in different words, like "cracked version" becomes "reloaded/SKIDROW version", "crack" becomes "fixed files/fix", etc.

Too nice if you ask me, but of course I understand why. Anyway, I decided to support (with a database that I'm working on wtih some guys) both programs and then see what happens. I'm not loyal to anyone, I just want to help create a pirate online gaming community that works. It all depends what game it is, how much players you need and does it work with one program or another. But I do agree that if Evolve had a large user base, then it would be superior. Also Tunngle at this point technically is clumsy in comparison to Evolve to say the least. :?

I showed Evolve to ObeseWhale, and he had never heard of it. The thing is; Tunngle has only 1 coder now... But he was certain Tunngle will beat Evolve and all those features will be added to Tunngle!

Well then where are those features here?
https://www.tunngle.net/lifetime/#en
Evolve has 3 guys working on the thing, but it's still better technically.

Of course the truth is that I would like Tunngle to be the best and "beat" Evolve, but if it's the other way around, then I'm not going to pretend like there's nothing better.

I won't need to, it will be a separate web-site.
