Yearh i also ask about that :D

I think the Theta just blocked multiplayer in their release, because if you read their readme, you can se they wrote.

- Multiplayer and leaderboards disabled in this release. Im sure they blocked it.

I think you can do it. You just need some cracked steam client files and a ini file. Like the succesfull lan crack for SSHDTFE update 1 to 7 skidrow :)

I'm updating this topic. I've made a new archive of The second encounter (last version), but now + First Encounter in it. You can play now both, TFE and TSE online. Tested and 100% working!

Update: If you experience some DRM protection bugs like spinning in some maps, put your Serious Sam Folder in .\steam\steamapps\common\

Also put this file in .\steam\steamapps

I tried to play a SP game today and it worked fine the second time.
The first time it crashed at game start and a steam window came up asking which version of the game to start (I suppose this is fixed by having it in the steam dir along with the file you provided).

Though before I went SP I tried MP but it crashed when I was loading the server map saying that it couldn't open a model file in the SeriousSam content dir (the dir for the first encounter I guess).

Are you sure you included the first encounter?

This dir:
E:\Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter\Content\SeriousSamHD

Only contains one file.
While this dir:
E:\Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter\Content\SeriousSamHD_TSE

Contains an awful lot of files.

Yes, the first encounter is included. Take a look again in SeriousSamHD_TSE and you will see that First encounter is included as DLC for Second Encounter. Before put the new release here, I've tested everything include First encounter SP and MP. Everything was working fine.

Hey guys ... having issues with TSE:

A) I can't launch SS HD TSE from within Steam/GL, I get the Standard/Unrestricted prompt, SamHD.exe fires up and I can see it in the Task Manager, but the game never loads and the SamHD.exe task closes itself

B) When I launch the file directly outside of Steam, Desktop/Start Menu Shortcut, it is fine and launches. BUT. The game crashes after about 20-30 seconds, doesn't matter if I am in game or in the menus. I get an error message, and I can dump the logs shortly. (I just cleaned up all of my logs so I can post fresh ones).

Posting my own solution..

I dumped my entire common folder, and the acf (I had unpacked & replaced the zip packages already before with no fix), along with any links in the registry (not much there at all).

I looked all over trying to find the gamedata, not in ProgramData, not in My Documents, not in AppData. It is in <Steam>\<userdata>\<gameid>.

I didn't have any savegames, so I dumped the entire gameid folder.

Unpacked a fresh copy of the acf, game, etc and fired it up. Same deal as before, it won't launch through Steam/GL at all, but it runs seperately without issues now. No crashes! Played through the first 4 levels :D!

Posting my own solution..

I dumped my entire common folder, and the acf (I had unpacked & replaced the zip packages already before with no fix), along with any links in the registry (not much there at all).

I looked all over trying to find the gamedata, not in ProgramData, not in My Documents, not in AppData. It is in <Steam>\<userdata>\<gameid>.

I didn't have any savegames, so I dumped the entire gameid folder.

Unpacked a fresh copy of the acf, game, etc and fired it up. Same deal as before, it won't launch through Steam/GL at all, but it runs seperately without issues now. No crashes! Played through the first 4 levels :D!


LOL now it´s working fine thanks for the release working perfect :!

• Typical installation:
1. Install the game by running setup.exe
2. Play

Note about game versions!
When installing the tablets from THETA, older version of the game virtually will be (1.126138)
More explain: The Theta crack is 1.126138 but when you have the legend of beast dlc you need 1.154933 but in game it show the 1.126138 but in real you run 1.154933.
But the new option in 1.154933 the fov setting will not be available. (You can still set the fov via console) But bug fixes in 1.154933 working.

Other:
Everything is already installed, updated, and packed into an installer with little compression.

Fuckit I'm giving up on this shit. U may call me noob, idiot, jerk whatever. But I am quite skilled at fixing these games but still can't get this one to work. Nor any other Serious Sam game.
Fuck them and their protection, it's not like me and my 8 friends will pay them for it.

I've noticed that SSHD TSE is not working on new GreenLuma (2.6.0). It say that you must unlock the FULL version of the game.

So in order to play full game, download Cracked Steam with GreenLuma 2.5.7 from here - Download Link

Copy "common" folder from the release to \steamapps folder, then login in you acc thought GreenLuma.exe and start from the SSHD TSE exe.

This release can be played only Offline!

Bugs fixed in v.171082:

How to play:

1. Download and extract the archive.
2. Run SamHD_TSE.exe
3. Wait 10 seconds and press Offline Mode in Steam.
4. When Steam is finished loading, press any key to load the game!
