[20:06] <ionicle_> MS refuted the claims of that happening
[20:06] <+DevinWatson> They say a lot of things some true some not so true
[20:07] <ionicle_> been waiting for MK to happen for ages, and i had already given up hope completely
[20:07] <+DevinWatson> yeah whatever the release date was on amazon it's probably right
[20:08] <ionicle_> good to know Boon was just being a massive troll with his constant teasing for the PC fans of the game
[20:08] <+DevinWatson> Steam achievements are fairly late game in the development process for a port
[20:08] <ionicle_> yeah, even better, that would indicate that the game is approaching completion at least
[20:09] <+DevinWatson> unfortunately Valve patched the achievements api backend so no more leaks on that front
[20:09] <+DevinWatson> at least for now
[20:09] <ionicle_> yeah, xPaw told me about it
[20:10] <ionicle_> a person commenting on the topic of leaked steam achievements posted the following, regarding MK:
[20:10] <ionicle_> "I made an enquiry to Amazon regarding the legitimity of the Mortal Kombat item while its page was still available. After a while they checked with their "specialist team" and responded that, quoting, "...release is correct. The pre-order option will be made available at a later date." so, this tells that the page has been taken down temporarily until an official announcement which is great news in my opinion "
