It's strange though, when I alt tab out and back into the game, the lag is gone, only to return a few minutes later.
It happens even when I'm not doing Zangeki, like on the first mission when you're chasing that one guy.

Ok, that's is something.

I could suggest you to try Windowless

In theory, this should fix your problem. And with it you shouldn't need to use thexuthan's Forcefix fix.

That suggestion didn't work as well.
But what I did to (temporarily) fix it is have a small task manager window overlayed over the game in the corner. Surprisingly, the lag went away and hasn't come back.
Thank you for your suggestions though.

What I THINK it's happening is that some process is making the game going from the foreground to the background WITHOUT affecting the window.
That's is why when you alt+tab it get fixed. It can happen. Check for any process that might do this. It's not rare that this happens.

So even with the PS3 jap files it's not possible to change the audio to japanese?

I have just the reloaded release. Can i apply the Update#2-FTS directly over it? Is there any need?
