to get myself back to II-100 with 168mil offshore and all the gage packs I've collected while playing on a Steamworks-cracked Payday 2 (saves don't transfer and a guy I asked in the Launcher online lobby said I should either start from the ground again or just hack the stuff I had in).

Uhm, wasn't able to find anything after going through 150 pages, and google returns nothing regarding "steamID". Mind explaining? :/

(...) There is a identifier indeed, that the game cannot use saves from another steam user, but this can be bypassed.
Just copy "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PAYDAY 2\saves\SteamUserID1\save098.sav" to "X:\PAYDAY 2\SmartSteamEmu\PlayerName\remote_218620\save098.sav".
After that, open launcher and press F3, enter SteamUserID1 to the "ManualSteamId =" dialog. After that it shouldn't give the "Save file belong to another user" error.

Do we need a new crack for 1.24.2 (Steam) or we can use the Hackod's crack 1.24.1?

There would be 2 "id" folders one from when you played on steamworks and one from the client now.
Check the last modification date to establish which is the one you want to restore.

Ok, so I got another problem regarding the Launcher.

Whenever I join an online lobby, I get "Connection to host has been lost" after 52 seconds - 7 minutes, every single time. Everybody stops moving, cops just freeze up, and the last message in the chat starts repeating itself. After it repeats the message 9-22 times, I get "Connection to host has been lost". I do not get kicked since I can join right back in, but it's kinda annoying having to re-join like 10 times whenever I go for a 3-day job. When I tried hosting, everybody froze up after the exact same time period as me getting the error, and then all left at the same time, yet I stayed. It might be my network, but I checked everything that could cause issues and I didn't find anything wrong. Any suggestions, or is everybody having this too?
