Is this compatible with the State of Decay Lifeline-SKIDROW release? (I'll just use the 3DM crack instead of the provided SKIDROW crack.)

The game runs fine for me with the update applied and it saves settings properly (using 3DM crack), maybe your installation got corrupted somehow... Check it with the attached .sfv to make sure that all files are correct...

Don't put the game too deep into your folder structure. I had the same error because of that. After moving it to like "C:\State of Decay" it started without any problem, so on my side it was too deep installed.

I have the State of Decay Lifeline-SKIDROW release, and I verified its files with this .SFV. The files, Game\beltway\BeltwayC.pak and Game\beltway\BeltwayU.pak do not match (it appears that these are the Lifeline DLC files).

Like many other users commenting in KAT about the SKIDROW release, I'm also experiencing missing audio (some dialog) and subtitles in Lifeline.

Can anyone upload just those two files? That would probably fix the missing dialog and subtitles issue in Lifeline for the SKIDROW release.

Extraction Language's Tool
for those who need it

(Perform these steps only after you have updated the game to the latest version)

Instructions:
1. Download State of Decay Extraction Tools
2. Starts the tool.
3. Open the "gamedata.pak"
4. Click on 'Extract'.
After it has finished, a folder called "Pak Extraction" will be created on the Desktop

Now, go to ... \ State of Decay \ Game \
5. ! IMPORTANT! Make a backup of the folder "Languages"
6. Copies the contents of the "Pak Extraction" in your folder ".. \ State of Decay \ Game"
After this, go to ...... \ State of Decay \ Game \ languages

7. Now, select the language (such as Italian, or any other).
- Create a second copy of this file.
- Remove 'english.win.btxt', and delete 'englishau.win.btxt'.
- Rename the first copy of your language file in 'english.win.btxt' and the second in 'englishau.win.btxt '.
(Example: 'italian.win.btxt' in 'english.win.btxt' and second, 'copy italian.win.btxt' in 'englishau.win.btxt'.)

8. That's all. Have fun.

@malcom, what you describe is true for the first updates. The new version doesnt need that. Only change the Language in the Cracked.ini. Thats enough.

With the release of Skidrow I had to use the 'tool' so to have subtitles in my language for 'Lifeline' DLC.
Only changing the language in Cracked.ini I only have the menus in my Language.
And this happens with all the cracks

@malcom, I dont know what you're doing wrong, but since the update 4 is the change of language, no problem in the ini and the SODET Programm dont needed. The DLC can be changed in the ini to. With the Skidrow crack you have to change the language 2x. With the update 15, 3DM only 1x. I've tried all languages, no problem. But if you have pleasure so much to work, please, I do not hold you up.

This is what eventually fixed the State of Decay Lifeline-SKIDROW release's missing subtitles and audio dialog bugs for me. Instead of step 7, I just deleted 'english.win.btxt'.

To Those who keep uploading stuff to sites can you Please Stop using those sites. Those most of them doesnt have permanent download save (Files get deleted after a while) and it takes forever to download them

Please consider using google Docs, it provides fast upload and download speed and it has a free 15GB storage, once its full just make another account to get another 15GB!

Yes, sure, we'll all stop using (semi-)anomymous filehosters and completely switch over to the great google.docs, where every step and every file is tracked, if you want it or not... That's a very good idea for a pirating forum...
