Hi there. I've been trying to do this many times today but keep getting nowhere. This is my first time playing with hex/bytes.
Some guidance will be appreciated greatly.
Anw, I'm trying to convert 3dm save to legit uplay/steam save.

I've tried copying the header from 3dm 2.save (0-207 block) to my legit 2.save (0-227 block).
De-crypt using original CD-key.
Copy de-crypt legit 2.save (0-207 block) to 3dm 2.save (0-207 block).
But unable to encrypt using original CD-key.
It could only encrypt when I "checked" "From 3dm save" box.
But that don't work either.

Please help! Thanks a million in advance.

i've been through that post and have tried many combinations but no success.

my files
- 3dm 2.save (not converted from rld)
- legit 2.save

i uds that i need to decrypt the legit 2.save.
do i need to decrypt 3dm 2.save? (if yes, how do i do it?)

i assumed "no" to the above qn for my step.

copy 0x207 from 3dm 2.save to 0x227 legit 2.save
save and decrypt using legit CD-key. (success)

copy 0x207 decrypt legit 2.save to 0x207 3dm 2.save
encrypt new 3dm 2.save with legit CD-key. (success)

copy new encrypt 3dm 2.save to legit save location.
start game and unsuccessful loading saved file. =(

I know the original post required 0x208 from 3dm 2.save file but when i do that, it can't even decrypt the legit 2.save file.

any help is much appreciated.

apparently there was a new update released today on steam(nothing on my UPLAY version yet).. can someone upload the new files(i think only the AC4BFSP.exe updated).
game version is still v1.07.

Thanks sam2k8. (The executable was signed yesterday, so the update is indeed really recent; previous 1.07 .exe digital signature was in March).

Any idea what got updated?

Imho just steam drm update.

I couldn't get past the "decrypt legit save" part. Keeps saying that my cd key can't convert file. oh wells...
guess I gotta restart and play again. T.T

I got the 3DM crack, but what's the cracked .exe for? Its not needed for the 3DM crack to work. Does it enable something else?

Which cracked .exe? There actually is nothing to crack on the original .exe? Do you mean the .exe machine modded to show all tiles in the main menu while being offline? If not, where did you get it?
