I still enjoy this game a lot..Actually..roaming around with the ship while the sailors sing..incredibly awesum

since it was a steam update only, i would only have too assume it updated steam functions.

Anyone find it sad that Unity wasn't better than this?(this game was awesome and all it was just sad that unity wasnt better)

I dunno if Unity wasn't better tbh.... The boarding stuff got old pretty fast for me and same old combat where you were basically invincible. At least in Unity you can die if you take on 10+ enemies at once.

Unity is better. They did make improvements in story, gameplay, and graphics. Just look at the huge (pre-patch) city and the sheer number of NPCs in one area. It is better than Black Flag in all those areas. They did not change much though

The only problem with the game is poor optimizations. Ubisoft spent all resources trying to make Unity to run on consoles with inferior hardware and neglected PC. Instead, they rely on PC's raw power to cover the problems. Black Flag can run on a shitty GT440 and suddenly 2 GTX980 cannot max Unity? I hate how Ubisoft keep lying about this.

Well Unity got better story then Black Flag, I also like character improvement there. Yeah ship fights are great, but that's just only good thing about that game for me.

I really enjoyed Black Flag. It certainly was something different from the previous titles. Wondering around the Caribbean with my ship, while my sailors sing, exploring and trying to find a new treasure or a Brittish convoy to plunder.

Mostly I enjoyed the missions around the sea, and not so much the ones in cities, although there where some interesting and fun moments there as well or at some of the islands.

Earning money actually matters so you can buy expensive upgrades and thankfully it wasn't the same system as it was in the previous games, where you buy stuff do get you even more money.

Intresting story as well with a nice little ending.

As for the technical parts, well I never experienced any important problems, bugs or glitches. The port for pc wasn't as good as I would want it to be, but then again it wasn't that bad for me at least.

Overall Black Flag was a pretty good experience.

Can sb post patches 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 for reloaded version? I cannot find proper ones (I've only found some bitcoin-miner crap )

I tried converting my 3DM saves to legit uplay saves, but the games loads it unsuccessfully :/
I used the Save Convert Tool by 3DM, selected "From 3DM Save" option and put my uplay CD Key in the field.
They selected my saves and it converted successfully.
But the game doesn't notice them.
I put the .save's in the right directory: ..\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<uplayid>\437
What am I missing?

the new uplay saves have different headers(552 bytes now). so after you convert the 3DM save to legit, take the new header and copy it over the old 520 byte header.

Can I pls convert my saves to legit save, finish missing challenges (white whales etc.) at my friend who has original game and then convert it back to my version without any problems for my friend?
