There is no way they'd say anything else at a major event. While it's possible it may arrive on time, I suspect that it will require "more polishing" just before release.

It's Q4 2013 (December 31, 2013 placeholder) on all pre-order stores too. Amazon, EB games, Gamestop, Walmart etc. Best Buy - Release Date: Not Yet Announced Even official UPLAY has no release date. Everyone act like surpriced now! Dunno why anyone needed confirmation that it will be delayed. Its same every year. They say it all comes on one day. And few months before release they say PC will be delayed 1-2 weeks. Below is the famous AC3 conversation before AC3 release when they said it will come out with consles version  Quote: GameSpy: So when's the PC release date?
Ubisoft PR: October 30th.
GameSpy: Yeah, but when's the real PC release date?
Ubisoft PR: It's October 30th.
GameSpy: Uh huh. And can you say that with a straight face?
Ubisoft PR: You can ask me as many times as you like, but the answer will be the same.
GameSpy: Very well, let's move on. So, when will you announce the delay of the PC version?

I'm happy that they've atleast said that they'll delay it a bit unlike other companies which do not even acknowledge the pc version _________________

I hope pc version is based on nexgen versions and not the xbox360-ps3 ones. The nextgen one should have a new engine for lights and more animated foliage/trees.

They try to release it same time with console release, but like demde, AND OTHERS said, it will be delayed like every time! This has nothing to do if you talk with a dev or god or who knows who else!
