Interstellar Marines resurrects the old school tactical FPS, offering a unique blend of co-op, role-playing and nonlinear gameplay. Set in a believable future, you take on the role as an elite soldier handpicked to join Project IM, a top secret military program being assembled to protect mankind from all dangers outside our solar system.

Interstellar Marines is inspired by Half-Life, System Shock 2 and Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. Our game is all about evolving the FPS recipe with all the inspirations we've assimilated since the birth of the genre. Our goal is an evolutionary leap forward driven by our compulsive interest in science fiction, role-playing, military realism, and respect for first person immersion.

PS: I haven't got the ALI release working yet. They did include their emu, and a weird exe that includes some sort of frontend, but I'm not clicking on any chinese buttons that I don't know the meaning of

Thank you. Everything works flawlessly - I was able to play on official servers.
During installation Avast thought Setup.exe was some kind of suspicious software.

I can't believe that this is the same build pre-steam release build people received years ago...I expected more

the false positive showed up for me on the game exe, that might be what it's picking up? try virustotal.com if your unsure

edit- scanned the setup.exe with virus total (https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/54aa8abbf6e3a60773249f53dc242e74af1db57fc987df6cfe93b2730955bb34/analysis/1372913297/ found nothing... even with avast

LOL, scan the game main executable...

Thanks BongSmoke, i think i had some issue with my connection. But all is fine now.
I downloaded, installed the game and it works fine.
But this pre-release is only playable with a keyboard. It's not a real problem but i can't reassign the keys in the setup menu and it's unplayable.
Anyway multiplayer is cool and can't wait for the final version...
