you are basically implying that valve doesn't know the second someone uses a appid for a game other then the one its intended
and its not like valve can't go download a torrent of game X and open steam_appid.txt lol the point is valve are alot more likely to fix the exploits sooner if thousands of people start using the appids. anyway, blocking appids from working will just inspire some clever bastard to come up with a new way for us to play multiplayer.

nice to know lmfao sadly they will get on it just like they did when DeadIsland came out and someone found a workaround steam went patch crazy on appid's sooner or later they will all be gone.

If you have read my comment, Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army, Castle Crashers and Dollar Dash (and some others I may have missed) requires a re-patched EXE to allow support for ALL fully spoofable appIDs, which I'd recommend so that should there be an appID that gets blacklisted, the gamers can simply change appIDs without having to consider re-patching the EXEs whenever this happens, making those said EXEs "futureproof" to a certain extent.

well,this appid survived long enough.however,because it is blocked,i don't think it's good news,really.
