Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter (41010) is Black Listed. It's not working anymore. You can create games, but one can join. 41010 is dead |

I second this, and this is why that when people create fixed EXEs, one should consider fixing those said EXEs to accept any working appID and leave the compatibility lockdowns to Steam itself. sam2k8 wrote: I wonder why they didn't block it earlier, every noob on the planet knew about this appid. Maybe they felt sorry for the warez mongrels... that is, until 16454010051515144213639 games started piggybacking on one appID at the expense of the game(s) that the appID was originally assigned for. |

jimbus80 wrote: So, multiplayer is dead? No - it just means that people will have to be on the lookout for other spoof-friendly appIDs, unless Valve changes the whole gameID-assigning infrastructure, then you can kiss your asses goodbye to online gaming for warez mongrelz! |

And I'm surprised it took them this long... even though we don't allow posting working app IDs in public (precisely to make them last longer), mentions of this trick have been all over the forum for a long time now. |

Same here - I'm surprised as well, but the upside to this is that at least people won't be as confused as to what game they're playing as they were when the Serious Sam HD appID was used - there was just too many games that used that one appID to even know what the heck was going on, including but not limited to: - Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - Aliens: COLONial Marines - GRID 2 - Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army (EXE doesn't accept any other spoof-friendly appIDs) - Castle Crashers (EXE doesn't accept any other spoof-friendly appIDs) - Dollar Dash (EXE doesn't accept any other spoof-friendly appIDs) ...and more. |

41010 is still an unlocked appid (that means "ingame xxx" works etc) but simply not working anymore, due recent changes. This has been done to 41020 as well. Like sam2k8 said, it's still "unlocked" so not completely patched. Hell, if valve wants to patch all unlocked appids they need to change 1460 appids... And don't worry about the appid trick (cracked multiplayer), there are other appids even better than 41010. Just be more careful with sharing. Yes, that applies to me as well |

Please ask in Greenluma thread! Update steam via steam.exe, close steam and reapply greenluma. Works for me. |

its not like we don't have 50 other working appid's i never under stood the whole don't talk about what appid's work you are basically implying that valve doesn't know the second someone uses a appid for a game other then the one its intended and its not like valve can't go download a torrent of game X and open steam_appid.txt lol |
