I'm those of the lucky ones which the pink truck or trailer disappearing problem does not happen here.
And I did nothing special.
I'm using the crack that you machine always put in the FTS releases.... I do have steam installed and the game on this path F:\Program Files (x86)\SCS Software\Euro Truck Simulator 2
A friend of mine has the same release too and doesn't happen to him either. Steam is installed in that PC too.

well i downloaded the FTS version from here (was your crack inside the crack folder? because if it's that one didn't work for me) anyways, crazzy's seem to work fine for me altrough the exe is 1.7.0 (dunno the reason).I mean i have already played quite a some hours and everything seems fine.I will try your crack and see what happens.Thanks for the quick reply

LE2: well my trailer just disappeared, god knows why returning to crazzy's crack as it works for me

I'm having exactly same problem with marocanu2009, as FTS 1.7.1 version doesn't work for me (Trucks turns pink & trailer disappear). I tried the crack and original exe but still no luck.
Guess I'm going back to v1.7 with crazzy crack as it's the only solution for me...

Same here, only Crazzy crack works for me, with others I have pink truck

I can't say 100% sure but I think it has to do with steam app not being install on the system as most people with pink trucks are without steam app right?

Now on latest machine crack posted on page 9, my trailer suddenly disappear O_o

btw. there is a newer version on steam 1.7.2.1

its not officially out.. v1.7.2.1 has been recently released as public beta testing
also with each new update the devs are adding more triggers.. i now noticed the more i modify the .exe the louder this noise is when game loads(it sounds like a picture being taken).. but if i use the org .exe with 3DM\ALI213 emu no sound..

it seems one hex edit to the crack i posted yesterday could be all that was needed
but i am willing to bet some people will still get pink trucks or missing trailers..

i fixed issue with missing trailers and luma emu fixed pink trucks
