Thanks..but when I click on eurotrucks2.exe nothing happens. At previous version, when I click on exe, steam runs and again nothing happens.
Any idea?

Hi guys, i hope you will be able to help me. I can't get this game to work- instead of starting the game it starts steam. I tried both versions 3dm 1.7.0 and fts 1.6.1 and no luck. Any ideas?

...check your game folder: Euro Truck Simulator\bin\win_x86(or where are you downloaded ver. 1.7) , there you must have 2 files: 3DMGame.ini and steam_api.dll. The steam_api.dll antivirus will detect as falsh positive,add to exclude list in your antivirus software(sorry about my bad english)..i hope this will help...

Does anyone have problem with their 1.7 version game?

lol.. these devs really are annoying with this custom protection.. but no i have not had a pink truck yet..
as for the FTS version.. click the pic in my sig and you can download the v1.7.0s game from there

Just want to know if anyone else have the pink trucks issue with v1.7?

I'm @ lvl 44 and I have 25 trucks, but since I updated to v1.7 most of my trucks turn into pink...
I assume everyone are using 3DM crack so there should be someone out there have same issue?

IMO it seems the devs are keeping good tabs on our community so keeping a working crack that doesn't have unexepected issues is becoming hard..
maybe using LumaEmu like the crack CraZzy posted is a solution as long as the trailers don't disappear since he removed the steamstub protection from the .exe(trailers were disappearing before when the .exe was modified)..

but if that crack doesn't work.. we may need to actually remove the custom protection completely(if someone skilled enough can do it) or discover what the actual triggers are..
or maybe possibly we need to have a reg entry or have the game installed in the correct steam dir format like Serious Sam 3.. because i have been playing using an ALI213 emu for a good 45min+(using your save you sent me) and have yet had a truck turn pink(it actually has never happened to me yet using either the 3DM or ALI213 emu).. but maybe this could be because i have the game in the correct steam location and registry entries(and i also have the retail version installed too with reg entries) plus i have the appmaifest and depots for updating because i have downloaded the game from family sharing... so i really dont know why its not happening to me..

...FTS version 1.7(3DM) working fine after 2 days of gameplay,all truck are fine(no pink colors),all mods working,no crashes....nice work machine...thanks... :ROFL:
