Also, everytime I load up the launcher, all but one mod is unticked, so I have to tick them again. This isn't really much of a problem, more like a little inconvenience, but i am still kinda curious how this happens, as one stays ticked.

That's paradox fault i read this on their forums has nothing to do with RezMar upload or crack.

And it's issue only with some mods from what i read.

Could someone post the .mod file for Meiou and Taxes mod?
For some reason I can not get it right and a lot of cores are misplaced.
Mine looks like this:
  1. name="MEIOU"
  2. path="mod/MEIOU"
  3. replace_path="common/bookmarks"
  4. replace_path="common/buildings"
  5. replace_path="common/countries"
  6. replace_path="common/country_tags"
  7. replace_path="common/cultures"
  8. replace_path="common/governments"
  9. replace_path="common/hre_reforms"
  10. replace_path="common/natives"
  11. replace_path="common/prices"
  12. replace_path="common/province_names"
  13. replace_path="common/religions"
  14. replace_path="common/revolt_triggers"
  15. replace_path="common/technologies"
  16. replace_path="common/tradegoods"
  17. replace_path="common/units"
  18. replace_path="events"
  19. replace_path="decisions"
  20. replace_path="missions"
  21. replace_path="history/advisors"
  22. replace_path="history/countries"
  23. replace_path="history/diplomacy"
  24. replace_path="history/provinces"
  25. replace_path="history/wars"
  26. supported_version="1.9"
  27.

This way it fucks up at least Hungary's and Poland's cores.

This is the example:
You need to create a folder named "meiouandtaxes1" and place everything except descriptor.mod.
Then rename descriptor.mod to same as the name of folder "meiouandtaxes1.mod"
This is how the .mod file needed to look in side
  1. name="MEIOU and Taxes 1.17 (8-Dec-2014)"
  2. path="mod/meiouandtaxes1"
  3. replace_path="common/bookmarks"
  4. replace_path="common/buildings"
  5. replace_path="common/countries"
  6. replace_path="common/country_tags"
  7. replace_path="common/cultures"
  8. replace_path="common/governments"
  9. replace_path="common/hre_reforms"
  10. replace_path="common/natives"
  11. replace_path="common/prices"
  12. replace_path="common/province_names"
  13. replace_path="common/religions"
  14. replace_path="common/revolt_triggers"
  15. replace_path="common/technologies"
  16. replace_path="common/tradegoods"
  17. replace_path="common/units"
  18. replace_path="events"
  19. replace_path="decisions"
  20. replace_path="missions"
  21. replace_path="history/advisors"
  22. replace_path="history/countries"
  23. replace_path="history/diplomacy"
  24. replace_path="history/provinces"
  25. replace_path="history/wars"
  26. user_dir="MEIOUandTaxes1"
  27. supported_version="1.8"
  28.

You can see here that i removed archive="mod/meiouandtaxes1.zip" and replaced with this line path="mod/meiouandtaxes1"
and removed all unnecessary lines like tags and picture (you can leave it but they are not important).

3 Pages before, posted by RezMar himself...

And for me, one problem solved (thanks for this), but one to go >.<
I also tried to overwrite the steam_api.dll with the Original one, and then with the 3DM again, but it still doesn't work...

--EDIT--
Ok, i am even more confused now >.< No matter WHAT i do, EU4 always ends up crashing on/(after?) "Initializing Game" and i couln't get it to work again (even after re-installation) on 1.9/1.9.2. with mods (Eventhough, as I stated in my last comment, it worked for me one time).
But while doing the update-process several times, i noticed, that the steam_api.dll in the 3DM-Crack (Both 1.9 and 1.92) doesn't seem to exist.
I can't open it (but with no error message) and I can't extract it (but, again, with no error message).
I really have no idea how to get it to work on 1.9 :(

--EDIT 2--
I looked up also the last updates uploaded by RezMar and it seems that the 3DM steam_api.dll has the bug on every update. Maybe the Problem lies there?

I did everything RezMar said and the game is working the problem is that i'm getting lags everytime i join. For example at nation select when I scroll or move the mouse it lags, that also happens in the game. It is barely unplayable, so if someone could help me i would be very thankful.

P.S. I don't know if someone posted this before so don't be mad if it did. :)

Ok, solved.. I have no clue how, because i did NOTHING different, but it now works >.<

Post subject:  Re: Europa Universalis IV

Is there any way of playing EUIV 1.9 MP with the Extended Timeline mod? I tried different patches and mods but i just cant get the mod to work, it says game not found every time. I saw the guide from RezMar on downloading mods from steamworkshopdll and managed to install alot of mods in EUIV. Some of them work in MP some of them don't, i know the mod changes the checksum but i also tried another time expansion mod which also changes the checksum but works in MP, the only problem is it's not that good. Thanks in advance!

Pozdrav balkanac!

You can just download it through http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/, and you can find the instructions in this topic.

@Uralls
This file is only for Online play via Steam... you don't need it if you want to play singleplayer.
Just download a crack and here you will have 2 different cracks: 3DM and SteamFix (REVOLT).

Happy holidays...

Post subject:  Re: Europa Universalis IV

I don't know what is real problem with your situation...

First of all all mods can be played via Multiplayer, players just need to have same mods and that's it...
And ofc most of the mods (99%) will change checksum because they modified files / put new one. But don't worry you will have the same new checksum as your friend if you guys previously have base game with corrected checksum and used same mods...

For Extended Timeline mod here is the direct mod link for latest version.
It will work only for EU IV version 1.9.X (I recommend the last one 1.9.2 because fix a lot of serious bugs).
DOWNLOAD LINK -> {LINK}

Btw this mods recommends you to have 64bit windows or it will crash sometimes...

Post subject:  Re: Europa Universalis IV

Me and my friend downloaded the latest updates, also with you're guide on how to install the latest version of the mod through steamworkshopdownloader we installed the latest version of Extended Timeline. We get the same cheksum and the mod works in singleplayer, we just can't connect to each other's servers because it says "Game not found".

We both have W7 64bit. Thank you for the reply.

E: Other mods work without problems, we just can't get Extended Timeline to work in multiplayer...

Post subject:  Re: Europa Universalis IV

Wait do you guys see each others in lobby?
If yes and can't connect then idk how to help...

If you guys can't see each others, then check what download region is set in Steam Settings...
Go to Steam launcher, click on the top left Steam -> Settings
Then go to Downloads tab and then chose Download region UK - London.

Idk how to help more...

Post subject:  Re: Europa Universalis IV

Well, no idea if that helps, but in my own MP-Game with friends, we get that error too. But ONLY if I (the host) have "Lucky Nations" on other than "None". Seems kinda silly to me, but we tested it out several times, so yeah...
