wow!! this game seems broken!! not to mention the graphics are terrible.. and as far as a mod making the graphics better, i cant see it helping it at all!
plus i cant get the game in full screen even if i have the box checked for fullscreen mode(checked in the launcher.exe).. and then when i go into the options menu, the cursor keeps moving like i have a stuck keyboard key...

you have to unplug your controller.

omg this game is graphically and technically TERRIBLE. is it at least good story-wise and fun?

This may be intended, Gamona named is the best game ever and the worst game ever, its controversial.
Fun is, repetitive gameplay, bad controls etc but its all like they want it.
And this controversial makes the game worth playing :grin:

BTW, Story and Setting seems nice, good written characters and a phantastic atmosphere, rounded up by a real open world.

So, Deadly Premonition PC was released today, locked at 720p.
DPfix aims to fix that.

This is the 0.1 alpha release, so don’t expect the features / relative stability of recent DSfix versions — this really has only been tested on my system, and the first half hour or so of the game.

It allows you to set the rendering and display resolutions of the game, and that’s pretty much it. For some of us, that’s the most important thing

Sure the resolution is locked, but whatever, I can just configure my drivers to fix some stuff. At least it's not some kind of weird resolution like in Dark Souls, so it will work with my monitor just fine, but of course no graphical options is fucking stupid. Basically, I was waiting for this game and stuff like this doesn't bother me that much. and generally the game is stable and playable for me. Guess I'm just lucky or something.

@Marti20
It's funny how a whole team of developers couldn't optimize this game for PC, but one guy on the internet has the skills to do it.

lols loved the article , now thats damn simple lazyness of them doing a half assed port job and then "appoligizing" for it in the end , this deserves a facepalm :roll: , but its nothing new has been seen many times being done before by other companies aka half assed port jobs sadly

lets just hope this durante guy is able to polish his mod , as usual the gaming community always has to rely on the little man to get shit done , and guess what these guys dont get paid shit unlike an entire lazy fuckin dev team , btw anyone test this 0.1 version yet :8=)

this game reminds me of 2 things.. 1. Twin Peaks TV Series and 2. Murdered the upcoming game from square enix

@shoalraft63409-78
Yeah, you're right, it's just good old laziness. Even the console version is buggy as hell, especially the PS3 port. It's a shame that the developers are being assholes after what the community did for them. In my opinion without the fans many people would not notice this game at all or just see it as half-assed shovelware. Well, the game is still half-assed technically, but it's still worth playing for everything else it offers.

And he's still keep going:

Seriously, they just rushed this to sell the game before Halloween... Now they can just stop apologizing for the fans and go PATCHING the Zach of it! The coffee said to do so! :roll:
